    Government is Confused!

Actually demonetization announcement by PM was done to curb black money, but an I-T raid conducted yesterday in the residences of two chief engineers of the public works department and three others linked to them has yielded RS 6 crore, including RS 4.7 crore in new currency and 14 kg of gold and gold jewelry. Umashankar, a senior manager of a private bank, has emerged as the conduit for exchanging old currency with the new in the black money.
The entire report is not revealed but this was disclosed to media. Surprisingly the new currency is in the denomination of Rs 2000. Now we should wait and see what action will be taken by the government against these officials.

Mathematical proof of the statement of the thread:-

    1. People have elected the present Government.
    2. People are confused.
    3. Therefore, Government is confused.
    Hence proved.

    Caution: Explosive. Handle with care.

When a big decision was proposed to be taken, the working Ministries must be taken in to confidence about their preparedness to strike the right chord with the PM's decision. That was totally missing. The FM has not done anything nor the bankers were prepared to this magnitude of public out protest in silence. Why the public was silent because there is a tendency to brand every one as the black money holder and hence they silently stood in the line and waiting for that one 2000 new note. But it seems officials have looted the entire system and mocked at the common man who lost all his savings kept at the home for near future requirements and forced to deposit in the bank and in return he was lathi charged and abused by the bank officials. For a common man this kind of agony and pain was un called for. And those who in the system are becoming a group of new black hoarders ?

Yesterday only 27 PSU bank officials of senior rank have been suspended by the Government and six others have been transferred.
Let us encourage each other in sharing knowledge.

I could see few ATMs were opened atleast for an hour after first week of demonetization. But for the past 1 week none of the ATMs were opened. This is ground reality in a metro city. Government removed the cap of maximum withdrawal, but almost all the banks are running out of cash with 1 hour and they are proving max 5K only. I strongly suspects that some underground exchange is going on. Situation is same as 10th Nov. Seems government is very confused and they don't know how to bring back normalcy. That is why PM and FM talks more about cashless and hiding their faces.
    Thanks,
    Suresh.
