A poem on common man apathy after demonetization.

Here is the small poem from my side enlisting the larger problems being faced by the common man across the country post demonetization.

Common was very happy until the evening of 8th November
when suddenly the news of note ban made rounds here and there

Being a common man even I was not believing the news that was spreading like fire
but when PM Modi appeared on television and told about ban, the mind went blank and haywire.

Not that we are holding some old notes of 500 and 1000 currencies
what we could visualize a big problem in store from today for 50 days.

Standing at the queue of bank, post offices, ATM centers were now become a habit
but the problems were persisting as the money released to us is small or not.

500 and 1000 notes were accepted earlier at petrol pumps
even that was cancelled to add more hardships

All the savings kept in dall bottle, behind the rack, above the slabs were deposited in bank
but what is the use, the manager say come three days after and thus we all sulk

Even during this crisis, banks are following more holidays as before
do they really feel the pinch of common man for sure ?

New currencies finding way to the rich and affluent with ease
what is the use of standing at queues for 30days now can any one tell please ?

Not a poem at all. Yours is a worried and crying statement.

A good poem from Mr. Mohan which tries to explain the pain, the hope and aspirations of common people in common peoples' language. I have read it just now and I like it.
Non-violence is the greatest Dharma; So too is all righteous violence.
