Praying for those caught in the cyclonic storm

It is hoped that ISCians and their families & friends are safe from the devastating cyclonic storm that has hit the southern States. Let's pray for other locals too, for their safety & security.

Due to our efficient metrological department, the people of Chennai were alerted well in advance and the public was requested not to venture out from their home during the hours when Vardah crossed Chennai, Therefore , all in Chennai remained safe and secure. There was no casualty reported except two deaths. RIP to the two souls.

Precautionary measures were up to the appreciable level by the state government. Vardah caused severe damage to houses and public. Thousands of uprooted trees and electricity posts delays normalcy in transport and communication. However TN government is working in full swing to put back the situation. 10 innocents were victimed by Vardah. My deep condolence for them.

Nature has punished Chennai second time. Number of death is less because of precautionary measures taken by government. But damage caused by this cyclone is huge and which is almost equal to last year flood. It will take some time to recover from the losses.
    Thanks,
    Suresh.
