Delhi High Court has said that Bureau of Indian Stanards norm is the benchmark to decide whether an electricity meter is defective or not. It should declare a meter as defective if it runs fast r slow by 1%.

This is india ,even if thousand rules are put in favour of this issue no one would bother to check.If it runs faster then our corrupt officials would be delighted.
