How do you greet the newly married couple?

Marriage is a regular affair to attend periodically. We might attend the marriages/receptions of our friends and relatives, neighbours and known people. The purpose of attending marriage functions is to meet the newly married couple and wish them or greet them and gift them with pleasantries. Mere handing over of the gift is not good. It should be followed by some good verbal greetings to the newly wed.

This thread is to discuss and know the phrases used to convey our greetings to the newly wedded couple. Many may not be comfortable to use English to greet, but choose to greet in their local languages. Never mind. Post your greeting messages here for us to learn, understand and use it whenever we attend a marriage function.

Try and post your greetings in English.

There are many ways to wish the newly married couple and I would choose one of the following:

Wish you both a very happy married life
The bonding as wife and husband should sustain for ever. My best wishes
Try to adjust and have give and take policy. Life would be super. Best wishes
New life begins now. Enjoy the most and never ever allow your problems to come in between. Great life..

    'Idhuvum Kadandhu Pogum "
Even this challenging situation would ease
