A scripted love- a love story of two actors.

    It's only an act.
We kiss each other and embrace.
But as the curtain falls down, we go our ways.
Every letter she utters, every sound she makes.
My love lived between director's cuts and takes.

    Appearing before thousands everyday.
In the same costume, in the same play.
Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare.
Reliving their heavenly love every hour.

To our scripted love, the audience applaud.
We bow down to acknowledge their love.
They only love what they see.
They love Romeo and not me.
    I lead an embarrassing life.
    Making money by telling lies.

Another day begins and here I am,
Enacting the same role for a millionth time.
My Juliet arrived too on the stage,
    beautifully reciting her given line.
If only those words were true.
If only I meant something to you.
But once again the curtain went down,
that's the end of our scripted love.

To make her fall in love, what will it take?
My love surely is scripted but isn't fake.

A very lovely poem from Aditya depicting the true screen love shown through scripted love which is not fake but for the sake of the public.

A true love and a scripted love has lots of difference and that has been brought with wonderful narration through poetic rendition which was nice.
