Helping hand is better than praying lips

We believe in God. We all go to place of worship. Offer our prayers. Tell our wishes to God. Put some money.. Once we come out of the temple, we see some old people and differently challenged people sitting there and begging. We ignore them and come out.
We go and eat in the restaurant and while coming out we offer tips. But when we see outside a man starving for food we will never give him something to eat.
We always expect something in return for what ever we do.
Expecting that something good will happen we always pray God. But we will forget that God is there in every human being. Helping a needy person is more than praying God.
Giving food to a person who is starving is more than worshiping God. If you help a blind man to cross the road, your good deed will get the dividends in your future. Service to mankind is service to God.

Wow what a nice saying that will move even a stubborn person from his arrogance to the donor mode. I have seen many people just listening the woes of the aggrieved person but never coming up to help him either with cash or kind. In fact some people have coined one good sentence. They says " God bless you ". By saying this they are shirking their responsibility to help others. Please note that if some one is saying or narrating his problem, he expects some sort of help either as a well wisher or as a philanthropist. But the other person simply thinks that it is one more information and update of aggrieved person for which he may not respond. And coming to the food part. I have seen people serving the food to the same persons again and again. That means they are not identifying the real starved person.
