It is an unfortunate thing that inspite of so many efforts by Govt as well as some social groups the terrorists are still going on in their own ways and showing their presence felt by such heinous crimes and act of terror by killing the innocent pilgrims.

It is high time that the nations of the world should unite and devise some method to bring these people to books. This problem of terrorism is deep rooted and can not be solved without integrated and synergetic efforts.

    Thoughts exchanged is knowledge gained.

A brutal act. What, these poor people who are going to have a darshan of God, have done to these terrorist? Why they should attack innocent people. If you have any problem with Government decide with them. Anger on mother in law should not be shown on the pot. It is a act of cowards. I feel our enemy nation's hand will be there definitely in this incident also.
Indian Government is trying many ways to stop this kind of attacks. They are putting their full and all round efforts to stop these activities. What the so called human rights protection people. other party leaders say about it. Why they are not rushing to the spot and see what happened. Why they are not condemning these acts. No body can answer. If the same incident taken place for any other religion pilgrims by this time we might have witnessed lot of hue and cry.
All countries should make a united effort to stop these kinds of brutal acts. The nations which are encouraging terrorism should be taught a lesson by the remaining all Nations. Otherwise this type of acts will go on for many more years? I hope Government will work in that direction and see that we will have some peaceful life in our country.

The killing is very painful but is not unexpected, especially when some people of the country, directly or indirectly, find various excuses for the terrorist. If the terrorists are caught and judicial system starts working, some of these 'libus' would start candlelight-march in support of them.

As a 'mango-man', I find the response of the Lead Editor little bit astonishing. The Lead Editor has given a link of locked thread (with reduced points) which discusses about fifth-columnists. The present thread talks about the Members' reaction about Amarnath massacre by jihadi terrorists. Are these two issues same?

Why is the Lead Editor so eager to lock/delete threads of some Members? A simple query from a mango-member.

My immediate reaction to the massacre is: Papa-II must be re-opened immediately.

Partha, with due respect to your intelligence (admitted by one and all), can we discuss the subject in one thread? Does a makeover change the basic idea which we are to discuss here? Me, nor any other editor, am not interested in locking a thread. Put up your points here; it does help!

I re-iterate that the other thread which has been locked deals with a different subject. How can I discuss the treatment of fifth-columnists like Saifuddin Soz or Ajam Khan in this thread relating to massacre of Amarnath pilgrms?

So far as this thread is concerned, I have to say that Papa-II must be re-opened and some Kashmiris (including some so-called leaders) must be regularly sent there. We have to take revenge. Blood must flow through Jhelum after this incident.

I was watching the crime scene enact on the terror attack and in that I could find that while two buses carrying the pilgrims of Amarnath Yatra were going between the two escorts of police on the front and back of the vehicles, this ill fated bus which was attacked by the terrorists was following those vehicles and suddenly changed the route course to its right where the terrorist are stationed and they open fired towards the bus. So there are so many things which has to be investigated. Why the driver has to take the different route, Why he has not followed the police escort vehicle ? All these must be answered.

What Mr. Mohan has said is true. Is there any sympathiser of those peaceful people in the bus, who got it diverted ? This angle needs to be checked.

Last night three terrorists Dawood, Aqib and Sajad have been sent to their Creator in Kashmir valley. Now the security forces should douse the bodies with petrol and burn these bodies because terror has no religion.

It is really an unfortunate incident where innocent pilgrims are attacked by the terrorists. Due to pressure on these terrorists they are now behaving in a chaotic way and have almost become like devils and shaitans.

It is really very surprising that they are getting a large amount of ammunition and back up material from other countries for operating in India. It appears that some countries are simply brainwashing these people who are becoming terrorists and these people are not bothered for their own life and what to say of life of other people.

This is high time that our security forces should not show any mercy on these terrorists and handle them in the same way to give them a lesson.

    Knowledge is power.

Targetting a bus from Gujarat during Amarnath yatra speaks volumes about the kind of message, terrorists want to give to the hindus and to the government at centre that they remain defiant and unbeaten so the counter message has to be strong to see that the terrorism is wiped out from the valley soonest possible..

I recommend LTTE solution because solution does not lie in political dialogue but only military solution will work as has been proven clearly by the Sri Lankans.. Same situation here so instead of letting it linger on and causing misery all around, let it end swiftly and decisively.. This is the only way that Kashmir issue is solved and yatris be safe at all times..

  • #603313
Ms. Bannerjee: I fully agree. Merciless killing of the sub-humans is the only solution. After the incident, the 'sicku-libu' brigade has started uttering 'Kashmiriyat'. Kashmiriyat is over in Kashmir on the three dreadful nights of 1990 when lakhs of Pandits were forced to leave their land. Kashmiriyat is alive only in the refugee camp of Pandits. Wahabi Islam lead by ISIS is occupying the minds of Kashmiris. This must be weeded out.
The direct and indirect sympathisers of the terrorists must be dealt with strongly. I have already stated that Papa-II must be re-opened and the sympathisers belonging to 'sicku-libu' brigade must be sent there regularly.

    Caution: Explosive. Handle with care.

Pity is this - This has happened to the people who had great faith in God, the deity sitting in Amarnath. All went on a pilgrimage to this holy shrine of the Lord, to have their wants and desires fulfilled in their life with extended longevity. Else they went to the shrine to say thanks to the great Lord. Should this happen to them? What the trusted God of those killed was doing? Couldn't He stop the terrorist by some means as desired by the Lord. If God exists, He should have saved them all.

This is what I feel and conclude. This should not have happened. A phenomena of God and our faith in God that remain unexplained forever.

What irks me that after this terror attack the police and Army is now stationed at every 10 feet. Had this was done previously, we could have saved precious lives. May be our government machinery works only when wrong thing occurs. This mind set has to be changed. When a quota of pilgrims are made to gather and travel in convoy, the police escort must be in the front and back of the last vehicle. But in this case two buses in tow was going with escort and the third bus was left in lurch. And surprisingly the ill fated bus takes right turn to the convenience of terrorists stationed there.

I think search and kill policy should continue to end the terror . I think search and kill job will be more difficult than normal duty but its advantage in future. If terrorist will be killed than more peoples will get save and it will avoid future terror attack also.

If any life terror cached during search then more network can be finished.

Santosh Kumar Singh your suggestion is good and that is what happening. But what I feel that instead of eliminating the terrorists or killing them in search and cordon operations, they must be caught live and take them to task by getting leads of their sponsors and sympathizers so that total network can be targeted and removed from the radar of terrorism once for all.
