Should we outcry for illegally occupied Govt. land?

It is a common site in big cities that around markets or housing complexes there are lot of illegally occupied land pieces by unknown peoples which belong to Govt or big institutions or big offices.

These people go on using this land as their personal and create a lot of garbage and unhygienic conditions around. Govt machinery is very slow in taking any action against these dwellers.

Should housing societies and people's group and forums nearby should make outcry to remove them from their vicinity or just ignore and live in the situation as it is.

We should not encourage somebody putting garbage in the vacant lands in the housing colonies. Same way we should not allow unhygienic conditions around the colony. The colonies will have some welfare associations. Through that association we should try that these garbages and other wastes from vacant lands are removed and nothing will get accumulated. If society is not there, there may be a corporator or ward member of that colony. We should try through them. It will become a common interest if we go through them and works will move fast.
If there are forum's in the colony through that we can try. A strict warning should go to the people responsible for these conditions and see that it will not get repeated.
If we ignore the issue a day will come when we can't live in that area.

If you are sure about the knowledge that the said open land belongs to government and it is occupied by the land sharks, it must be immediately brought to the notice of MRO so that illegal occupation can be thwarted. But most of us does not want to make any complaint fearing back lash from the wrong doers. By the way even the MRO officials would know about the land sharks occupying the government land, but they chose to ignore the culprit citing ignorance of government records stating it as government land. But by that time, duplicate documents are made and the case would run against the government for stopping them to occupy the land.

I also feel that societies or nearby colonies must protest to Govt agencies for removal of these illegal occupants from these areas. It is not only nuisance but there is a big risk of theft and crime by these unknown people about whom we are totally in dark.

Once they establish their presence in the area they will start all short of small shops and other commodities selling to show their livelihood. In that process in long run they start feeling a right on the land and are attached to some political group for their protection.

These problems are to be sorted at the early stage itself.

Now a days every MRO office in the country is having the images and structure picture of every building in each lane and by lane. Thanks to the Google mapping technology. The MRO office is having the written records of government and they can compare the latest Google mapping with the structures came there in. They can immediately take action against the encroaches and even order demolition of the structures. The MRO office need not wait for a complaint as they can take the action on their own by their quick action and safeguard the government lands from the clutches of land sharks. I hereby advise the government departments to verify now and then the existing and previous structures in particular area as regards to permission obtained or having started construction illegally.
