Women's Cricket World Cup 2017 finals - will it be a win for India?

Mostly everyone in India is sure our team will win the Women's Cricket World Cup. Some are feeling very positive about the win.

What do you think - India will be able to perform against England as they did against Australia?

First of all a big thanks to the Mithali and team for registering formidable win and securing a place for finals against the England. The way the top order women cricketers performed, even the men in blue must have learned how to play this game during the challenging time without loosing the wicket. Given the stamina the girls performed very well in all departments and thus registered a win against Australia. Now the focus is on the England team which cannot be taken as light and the same spirited performance from our eves cricket team is expected. All the best wishes are from every fan of India.

The Women's World Cup 2017 is being held in England. Indian women are in great form. They have reached the final for the second time. On the other hand, host England has also reached the final.

Unlike their male counterparts, the English eves are much stronger opponents. Moreover, in this tournament, India has been winning by virtue of the batting. The Indian bowlers must show their form in the final. As the host country, England team will get the crowd support more, but Indians will also remain present in the stadium in a large number.

Best wishes to Indian Cricket Team.

I also hope and expect Indian ladies to win the finals. Batting of our team is on top. Bowling should raise to the occasion and see that they will restrict England batters. Otherwise it will be a herculean task for the team.
The other team has the advantage of home ground. So the best performance only can bring positive result to our team. All the ares of the game, the batting, the bowling and the fielding, should do well for victory.
All the best to Indian team and hope they will make us happy by winning the title.

Brilliant bowling by Jhulan Goswami at Lords! The former captain and a very senior player of the team hailing from Chakda, Nadia (West Bengal) will make us proud in the final!

Indeed it was a dream spell by Jhulan. Team England have completed their innings, setting India a score of 229 (run rate 4.56.). Let's see the batting power in full display from the women in blue. Go India, go!

Match is going to be interesting although India still has 70:30 chance. After 44.2 overs, India is 199 for 5. Only 30 runs left to win Lords. Come on India!

Unbelievably we lost! Last six wickets fell without any resistance! Feeling very sad. Indian eves lost by 9 runs.

This is called snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Well I watched the whole match yesterday and was really convinced the way the England players gave tough fight to our girls and appreciation to the Indian women team which accepted the challenge with great elan. First of all by registering formidable score, England has mentally won the game and I could see frustration from the opening players who gifted the wickets to the formidable England bowlers. Nevertheless India women gave good and decent fight against England good fielding and bowling. My appreciation to Poonam for scoring with the bat and also giving good bowling performance. Had Mithali scored few runs and could have ran fast to save her run out, that could have been the turning point of this game. That 10 run short performance of some ace players was the reason for India loosing to England.

Yes somewhere Indian team shown his weakness . After number 5 they need to strong batting lineup. Krishna veda out was the turning point of the game no one able to stay on the crease after that.

Anyway its bad luck but not the end everything has a day to happen first time line winning the world cup.

They fought well and came to a stage of winning. But unfortunately we lost it very very marginally. This time Poonam has batted very well and brought India almost to very near to victory. But batting line up after 5th wicket is not so good. Even then the way they fought in the finals is excellent. We should not always look at victory only. But we should appreciate the fighting spirit they shown collectively and brought India almost to victory. That's great .
All Indians are happy about their performance. Well done India, the runners up.

Great win for England. England Women's showed they can turn the tables at any point of time........ Again a great disappointment for Indians.....

I feel that there should be a good coach to train them well for future matches.
