Three friends divided some bullets equally. After all of them
shot 4 bullets the total number of bullets remaining is equal to
the bullets each had after division. Find the original number
divided.

let 3x be the original no of bullets.

so each one will be having x no of bullets(3x/3)

since 4 bullets r being shot

4-x+4-x+4-x=x

so x=6

so answer is 6*3=18
