Can any one explain why the water droplets wont stay on a Lotus leaf ?

Have you aware of the lotus and its leaves. The plants would normally grow in the still or dirt water having stagnant for many days. The flower coming out would bloom while the sun shines and it is really admirable to watch a lotus flower of different colors. But seldom people know that when you pour few drops of water on the leaves of lotus, the water wont stay and even no residue of water trace if found. That is really astonishing. What may be the reason for water find the leaf slippery ? Please explain if you can ?

Lotus flower has an architecture which prevents the water from getting absorbed. It has a waxy layer which repels the water from its surface.

I know the answer. The lotus leaf contains a wax (praffin) like substance. Beecause of the presence of this wax-like substance, water does not remain on the leaf.
