How much discrimination do we have to face?In Railway station we face discrimination. In trains during long journey, we face discrimination and feel uneaseiness. Inside the aircraft, it is a strict 'no-no' for us. In airport, a small room at the farthest corner is reserved for us. In our working-places, it is a taboo.
Now this extremely discriminatory news. A Japanese marketing firm, Piala Inc., has introduced a new paid leave allowance in September this year after non-smokers complained that they were working more than their colleagues who smoked. The company's office is located on the 29th floor, and according to the non-smoking employees, an employee takes an extra 10-15 minutes to return after smoking. So, the company has chosen to offer non-smokers extra holidays instead of taking action(!) against the smokers.
So, extra holidays for non-smokers! So much discrimination against us (smokers)! Who will tell them that smoking helps us to improve our concentration level? A very big sigh!
