Man's Dark Side: Always under Lock and Key[This thread wins a special prize for the topic-based TOW of November 2017]
Since time immemorial our ancestors have always battled with each other and within ourselves to save Good from Bad. Our history and religous texts are full of stories of the triumph of God over Satan. In fact, every human being has a dark side that we keep guarded. Rage, anger, abuse, desire to hurt someone or to commit immoral acts, acts of violence; Some humans have a desire to kill others. In the minds and hearts of every human, there is a dark room filled with dark, disturbing thoughts that are always kept under 'Lock and Key'. As we mature we find ways to keep the key safe for the fear of these destructive forces can't be let out.
Even the bright milky white moon has a dark side. But alas, the human mind and heart are fickle, the weak can be influenced. Situations, events, radical preachings, unholy desires and fantasies can find its way to the key that fits the lock which guards our dark thoughts. In a moment of weakness that is beyond the faint hearted, the lock is opened, man lets his dark side out to commit dark deeds. It takes moral courage, faith in self, faith in Almighty and above all faith in our fellow humans to keep the key far away so that our dark side is always under 'Lock and Key'. If this is done by all, the world would be a better place.
