Points Allocation for Resources in ISC

Dear Friends,
Here is how the points are alotted for the resources by the Editors,
Anything completely self written deserves more points. If it is a very short one, your points start from 2. A completely self written article may deserve upto 25 points according to the quality of the post.
We have a special offer for posting "My Interview Experience". We pay cash credits for this category. A well written interview experience deserve up to 25 points (even more, depending on quality). The points are equal to cash credits in this category.
Articles/Knowledge Sharing:
E-Books – 4 points
All other – 2 points.
News/Announcements Categories:
Campus News, Education, General – 3 Points
Admission, Conference And Symposium, Exam Result, Exam Announcement , Jobs and Interviews, Short Term Courses – 5 Points(With Proper url from university websites), 3 Points (without url)
Entertainment
Movie Review (If Self Written) – 3 points.
All other – 1 points.
This points allocation is fixed by our Webmaster Tony, there may be some minute deviation from 1 to 2 points mentioned above due to some reasons, but if you get 1 or 2 point instead of 5, you can post that in forum.This points allocated will be provided only for current uptodate resources, For example, if you post any previous year results with url, you cant expect 5 points for your post.

Ram/Tony,
I would suggest you would need to review with the points allocation.
The reason why I am stating this.. we need quality resources. For example exam results.. there are posting of 2007 results. So you would need to also clarify on the same. We need to mention clearly that (5)points will be alloted only to exam results which are latest not to the previous year.

What you mentioned is Absolutely right, These above mentioned points are only for resources which corresponds upto date resources,for any past events, Editors will be alotting points after reviewing the importance of resource.

Hi Tony/editors,
I have suggestion here.
Why dont we allot 5 points only for Exam Announcements,Results and Adminision(only school and colleges).With Proper url from university websites, information.).
Less point will be allocated if proper information is not provided. Such as one liner.
Depending on the editor we can allot points to resources Conference And Symposium, Jobs and Interviews, Short Term Courses –
The reason why I am suggesting this: People a copying and pasting the content from different sites or colleges anything that they come across. I have a resources which states adminssion in Multimedia institute. If we start providing 5 points to these resources then everyone will start posting about the institute in their region.
Please provide me your feedback.
