    100 runs in 36 balls.

Yesterday we witnessed an excellent one day match between India and Srilanka. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to field first. The Indian openers started in such a way that they are in a mood to take a revenge for the humiliating loss they experienced in the previous match. Rohit Sharma as a Captain lead the team from the front and scored his third double century in one-day matches. He is the first player to achieve this record. To reach from one hundred to two hundred he has taken just 36 balls and his shots were really mind-blowing. Finally, India won the match by a convincing margin. The whole stadium is in standing during the final overs if Indian batting where The man of the match, Rohit, displayed his enormous potential in playing the strokes.

Yes, Rohit Sharma played a comparatively sedate knock before reaching his first hundred. He took 115 balls to reach hundred. He started blasting Sri Lankan bowling after reaching his hundred. He took only 36 balls to reach the double century mark. He hit total 12 sixes in his inning, all of which are cricketing shots. But most important thingh is that India won the match and levelled the series 1-1.

Yes, good batting from Rohit Sharma. More importantly as mentioned above, we could level the series. After the first loss, without Kohli, I thought did the Indian team underestimate the SriLankans. It's a dream change from a team score of 112 in the first ODI to 392 in the second. A good win by a good margin for India. He was also ably supported by Shreyas Iyer and Shikar Dhawan for India to reach the total of 392 for 4. Hope they continue their forms.
