The one thing that i don't like about ISC is that sometimes they take too long to approve a post.I understand that it is very difficult to manage as the number of posts submitted these days are large in number.One more thing that i would like to add is that the website is sometimes very dull ,nothing exciting happens much.I am not saying these are drawbacks ,i merely said this as it would help in the growth of the website.

Sorry neyha, some objection from me to your comment, this time we are reviewing all the resources, question papers, freshers jobs without pending. Some questions are pending in aptitude questions I agree with you but blaming all postings are in pending stage is not acceptable. If it had any pending, you made a forum about that and we reviewed those and suddenly we responded you in that forum.
ISC is always contains excitements with special programs, you will be more excited within two or three days because one more new program is going to come.
Am I correct tony?

Information: ISC being the key provider of information regarding colleges and institution, accuracy of data is of utmost importance. It is also important the users have the complete and up-to-date information. People should be able to make decisions based on information provided. For example, if any one wants to find about a particular college, the contact details, email id, contact name, etc. should be accurate. Especially during admission time, when lots of people do not know whom to contact and where to search.
Search: As the database grows bigger everyday, searching for the required information should be easy. The Google Search bar is good option, but it should be indexed properly, so that user get the right search.
Point System: User have made issue of this matter very seriously when their points have been decreased drastically. If awarded points before editing and then reducing them after editing is creating issues, why award points that are not there in the first place. This needs to be looked into very seriously.
That is all I can think of at the moment. Should I remember and other issue, I shall bring it up in this forum

I accept you, college editing section of ISC is looking into other sections, so that some incomplete details be placed in colleges and university section, hope this will be cleared in some days.
And you told about point system,just think without giving initial points no member will post their resources.
Most of the members having some doubts in points of resources. To clear that doubt, please read below :
Anything completely self written deserves more points. If it is a very short one, your points start from 2. A completely self written article may deserve upto 25 points according to the quality of the post.
We have a special offer for posting "My Interview Experience". We pay cash credits for this category. A well written interview experience deserve up to 25 points (even more, depending on quality). The points are equal to cash credits in this category.
Articles/Knowledge Sharing:
E-Books – 4 points
All other – 2 points.
News/Announcements Categories:
Campus News, Education, General – 3 Points
Admission, Conference And Symposium, Exam Result, Exam Announcement , Jobs and Interviews, Short Term Courses – 5 Points(With Proper url from university websites), 3 Points (without url)
Entertainment
Movie Review (If Self Written) – 3 points.
All other – 1 points.
This was the guidelines given by our webmaster Mr.tony for editors, we are giving points in accordance to that with little point reduction.
But be sure your resources should not be copied from other sites, if it copied it will be deleted.

for me i post apptitude question 15 and all r approved,and i dont know for apptitude questions how much u r crediting the cash,and for some sources u r delaying in approving,first i joined i dont know about how to post in yahoo answers,then i itself clear it, how can i post the answers in yahoo , for that thing i suffered, but now i know everything how to earn in this site,i will work to improve the growth of this site

I really don't like when posts are not approved for long time or when they are approved after few days when others posts have piled up on yours already. Because of that no one sees your posts. This happens with me specially in case of Freshers Jobs. Till the time jobs posted by me are approved, others posts get piled up. Due to this my adsense earning from ISC has also decreased as compared to the time when posts were auto approved.

Fresher jobs are reviewed uptodate nowadays in ISC. Please check the new submission category. You cant find so much jobs pending there. Editors are working a lot to edit jobs.

Dear Mr. Tony,
I don't like the "Points" system in "ISC" because the members who are posting only single line eg. "Thanks for sharing this information" etc. as a response to thread are easily getting 2 points and the Members who are posting very important Resources eg. "Admission Announcements" are hardly getting 1 or 2 points. I have got only 1 Point for many resources and those resources were about Admission Announcements.

Tony,
The thing I don’t like most in ISC is frequent changes in “Membership Level”.
Before four months, Points for Membership levels have been increased at the most, many diamond members became Gold, and Gold members became Silver.
Just think of the members, how they would have felt with this change while they were dreaming about their Annual Bonus from ISC right from next year.
This will leads for the members to lose hope on ISC, they will start thinking that,””” you wont allow members to reach Platinum level, If any member tries to reach that level, then you will increase points for that level”””
My request is, Members must be clearly stated their Target to achieve a particular Level, and there must not be any change in that.
If you want to make any changes in Membership level, that should not affect any Members, they must be implemented only for the members who are joining after the announcement of the New Membership level points.
I know that you will be thinking that it will create some indifference among Members, but there must be difference between members who contributed actively for making ISC to become a popular site and members who joined by the popularity of the site.
Some of the universally accepted Systems in this method:
1) I have joined Engineering before three years in an Anna University Affiliated College in Madurai, At that time Anna University(Chennai) was running as a whole, but now it got splitted into three universities, namely AU Trichy, AU Chennai, AU Coimbatore, all my juniors came under the control of AU Trichy, but as I joined under the control of AU Chennai, I will be in control of that university till I complete my course.
Also While im joining fees was Rs32,500, we have the same fees for four years, eventhough our juniors are paying around 70,000.
2)consider Telecom Industry, if they cancel any plan for Broadband connection, it will affect only customers who are going to get a new connection, Customers having that Plan already can continue in that plan itself and they will not get affected by any changes.

I Really appreciate the effort of the management team and all ISC members for the first year anniversary of this group. But the level of non-stability in the policies had really affected many members to abandon this group. This will be proposed today another thing tomorrow.
Foreign members were not given serious attention like Indians. I know this site belong to Indians but if is to be a Nigerian site there will be special provision for non Nigerians in other to carry them along. This will give my country the opportunity to tell the world her good side and correct misconceptions about my country. Any thing embarked upon in this group should have the foreign members kind of considerations.

Tony,as Bharath pointed out the points for resouces, even now i could see the narrow fluctuations from editors in giving points.
So give a clear conference to ISC Editors, the way of evaluating and giving points.It should me made strict.
Some resources are re-appearing, in the sense for example i have posted an admission or exam result last week.Some other person has posted the same resource this week and the resource got approved..I think this is difficult task.So members must take care befor submitting a resource, that whether such resource has already been submitted or not??
Some members are submitting more links .GOOD
but when i took a visit in yahoo answers section..many are with the following answers that too not related to the question

and they gave the link to ISC.

It is very difficult job for editors to find out whether a resource is already posted or not. So, we are approveing all the good resources,even it is posted on before days.
It is unabel to remember the resources whether they are posted early or not because we are reviewing thousands of posts per day.

i too know this is hard matter of concern.But i have pointed out since i felt the repeatition as fault.
Thanks for your reply.Approving repeated results are ok.But editors must not bend on any side in allocationg points,as still i can see some particular member's resource are getting good points just for submitting a link.
Also i pointed out to Tony that if an university is publishing result as MCA Sem I/II/II with same link..our innovative members are posting as MCA Sem I, MCA Sem II, MCA Sem III as different resources but giving the same link.This is a hidden fraud, why the editors are approving.A rule should be made that for such type of reources only one should be submitted.
If separate marks and everything availble then no problem. Members are welcome.

This is very good post for the members to interact with. I joined ISC only 3 weeks oago. I give each and every sections and resources a 5 star and a thumbs up. KEEP GOING ISC!
But ever since i joined this site one thing that pulls me back is the VISUAL APPEAL of the site. When i joined this site I thought this was just a mere Blogging site. Bcoz, nowadays almost all blogger sites looks much similar to this one. After hours of interaction only, could i make out this was a 'TREASURE TROVE ON LINE'.
Well, I think awesome team effort and highly qualified personnels keep this site on the track. I expect excellent and sole web designers working with you too! Please try your best to add more 'LIFE' to ISC.

Hello Mr. Tony
For me this site a Treasure. I am a new member so I don't have any useful comment, but one thing that I don't like is about Jokes. I have seen some jokes posted about sardars even one joke have title sardar joke and there is no logic of sardar character. Sardars are not aliens they are from India and took active part in the Indian society. I am very much hurt, why this kind of communal jokes has been approved on this social site.
I kindly request you don't give me point on this posting but do something to discourage this kind of postings.

When we post reply thread shows date when reply is posted.
Here thread should show actual date when that particular thread has posted.
Here we cannot predict thread date, for this we have to open that thread and see when thread is posted.
