All these are okay, what about the rise in price of all consumer goods(grocieres,food items ) are they going to use them sparingly, will the human will switch over to green food that is plant leafs.This is also happening for good.

the Inflation rise is due to the rise of oil and other heavily traded materilas in the world market , Hope the india will retain to a neutral base soon.

YOu know what, one should always look for positive side even if he or she is in the worst situation.. Price hike is obiviously making hole in pur pockets.. but we have to live in that.. if there is no other option.. live with joy..

varun , this is a very one sided view of the fuel price hike. People like your friend who has shifted to public transport systems such as the bus are far and few between. Car sales are in fact in the rise due to most companies slashing prices. The green brigade has nothin to cheer about since the Government has done absolutely nothin to provide subsidies to the makers of hybrid or electric vehicles. Till that is done or some steps taken towards that, I don see any reason to cheer about the hike.
