Internal bickering are there in every party and BJP is no exception. Once Modi wins, even they would keep quiet and work for the bigger win in general elections 2019.

Recently some people in BJP are talking without any responsibility as they like. Because of the good deeds of Modi, only the Gujarat has become No 1 state in many aspects. Anyhow tomorrow by this time, the results will be there and everybody will know the outcome. Let us not show unnecessary anxiety in this matter. The voters' decision is already in the EVMs. What has to happen has already happened Only the happening has to be announced.I hope that BJP is having every chance of winning the elections.

PM Modi who has the ability to control the government with ease, would have the cake walk to control the dissident voices inside the party. He shall surely wait for the bumper majority to win in both states.

Modi does not have any control over BJP MP's and how he will control the government.

People are underestimating the power of our PM. He has good party President at his disposal and that is enough to have half won and remaining he shall see their grievance and settle the matter once for all.

In a fluid and uncertain political situation people dish out different signals. That can serve as a sort of anticipatory bail from ugly situations happening. Sometimes such talking will be under the blessings and knowledge of the higher leadership also. This gives them an escape route in case things go against their declared stand. Otherwise they can term it as rubbish talk or individual's opinion and not party's official stand.

In most cases the leaders who are close to ground and have good interaction at grass root levels can easily gauge public mood and mind.

I'm replying now because, this morning for a few minutes listening and viewing the TV channels, for a moment I thought Congress can become the dark horse and this thread was in the back of my mind. It is common for parties to have some who would openly rebel or speak against the party leadership and views. This only causes internal faction or groups that have the potential to create rifts in the party. In such cases, the leader will quietly observe without commenting and when the time is correct, the critic would be silenced. Interesting concept from Venkiteswaran sir, having a back door to escape.

The PM won the 2014 elections only on gimmicks . The BJP won with 33% votes. This shows that they took advantage of division of votes. In BJP, there are so many people who are against Modi. In 2014 , owing to the loss of popularity of veteran leaders like Adwani and co. , Modi was accepted as the PM candidate under compulsion. At that time also many BJP leaders kept mum on his choise keeping in view the victory of the party in the background of incumbency and corruption charges against the then Congress Government .

After the victory of 2014 elections , Modi sidelined all his opponents and made Shah the president of the BJP . Modi could not make any significant changes in the economic situation prevalant in 2014. To counter this, he in general connived at the rise of hyper nationalism and rightwing vandalism. This detracted the attention of the people from the main issues of quality of life and unemplyment. This also led to the resenment in farmers and other wage earners in the unorganised sector of the country.

The economy of the country was hit badly by the decisions of demonetisation and implementation of GST . The Gujarat election results clearly indicate the failure of Modi .

We must call a spade a spade. Narendra Modi-led BJP won the election of 2014 because common people voted the party despite relentless campaign against Narendra Modi since 2002 by the liberals. People of India slapped the liberals in 2014.

After 2014, BJP has slowly and steadily improved party's position in every corner of the country.

Now 2019 election will be held after one and a half years. Despite continuous campaign by Modi-haters, the opposition doesn't have much hope to dethrone Modi in 2019. The liberals must not jump so much so early.

If we accept the winning of elections as a parameter of work done to the common man then Lalu Prasad Yadav, Mulayam Singh are justified in calling themselves the Massiha of common people. BJP has been mockering all these things and trying to pose a party with difference. But, when they got power, they are using the same language.

In fact, the PM could not fulfill even a single promise he made during the 2014 elections. This fact is fact for the so called Modi-Bhakts or Modi-haters.

''In fact, the PM could not fulfill even a single promise he made during the 2014 elections.''-People have been deciding in election after election. Relentless campaigning by Modi-haters bears no fruit.
