A man made micro forest in the city.

The State Chattisgarh was formed by the division of Madhya Pradesh. The city Raipur is the Capital of this state. The state is progressing well in many areas.
The governemnt has made a micro-forest in the middle of its capital. For the construction of this many governments, buildings were demolished which are in the centre of the city. This is the largest man-made forest in the world so far. There was show on this forest recently on the history channel. Beautiful trees and animals. A place worth visiting. Every car tyre that enters this area has to pass through potassium mixed water at the entrance to disinfect. So no animal will be harmed.

A great initiative by the city authorities. There would be some areas in cities that are run down and beyond repair. It would be a source of neglect and anti-social activities. If these areas could be converted to green land and looked after, then every city will have its own mini forest within itself. NewYork has the huge Central Park, that is rated as one among the best of city lung spaces. The Irony I can see here is God created Nature and Man, Nature nurtured Man, who in return destroyed it. Now God has given some sense to Man who is trying to re-create nature for his own survival. But such efforts would take a toll on the state budget and would need constant support from the center and the public who have to allow the mini-forest to prosper and not disturb it with encroachments and hunting of small animals.

When the governments are bent upon removing forest and encroach the land to construct for the on going housing and infrastructure development, here is the Chhatisgarh government initiative which demolished the buildings present in the thickly populated area and made the micro forest for the convenience of the animal kingdom to live and enjoy their life . Human being were always selfish and they never cared for other habitat and in this case we have to complement the Raman Singh government for thinking differently and giving room for the wild life to exist amid the urban population.
