Keeping all options on the table and exploring them is a mature way to handle a situation. Many times, we assume based on some facts in hand that this is too big a task, cannot be done etc and turn back. We should not turn blind to other options, chances that come our way just because we are happy with what we have and the others are impossible.
I strongly believe that we should impart this to our children, even if they fail in one, doesn't matter, they will learn the habit of exploring the chances in life to enrich themselves
The first word 'Explore' can be explained with the traditional Biblic verse"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:"
A quote by Pauline Phillips says -"If we could sell our experiences for what they cost us, we'd all be millionaires." That is enough to show priceless experience is.
Regarding Excellence it is enough to rad Martin Luther King Jr: "If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as a Michaelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, 'Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well." It simply means one has to excel in any thing one does.
