March 2018 Topic of the Month for TOW: Bell

As you know, on the last Sunday of each month we announce a topic on which members can submit threads during the last week.

The topic for this month is: Bell(s).

It is very simple to participate. All you have to do: Submit a thread in the forum in the appropriate category, with the text related to the word Bell/Bells. The text should be in English only. As such there are no restrictions on maximum length, but we do not expect a PhD thesis! Please try to avoid over-lengthy & meandering text which bores the readers. At the end of your text, just mention that it is a TOW entry. If you are familiar with HTML tags, you could give a link also to this announcement. Only one entry per member is allowed.

Once you have submitted your thread in the forum, you must submit the URL of that thread in a response in this thread to be eligible for the cash awards.

Last date to submit your entry in this thread: 31st March 2018.

Remember: The jury panel looks for original, creative content. So what rings a bell in your mind right away for this topic? Write and submit without too much thinking!

    Aditya,

Your second entry is invalid. It is clearly stated that only one entry per member is allowed, so only #631063 will be considered for the TOW contest.

Yes Vandana . I submitted a response stating that I want to change my submission, from "my story one" to "my story two".
There was an error while sending.

Can I edit my link now ? Can i change my submission?

The stronger a light shines the darker are the shadows around it.

  • #631135
Sorry, Aditya, you cannot change your submission once submitted. While it is allowed to make simple, basic corrections such as typo errors and improve the grammar, it is an unwritten rule based on trusting the members not to change the main text as such. So you can neither replace the story overall or the entry's link. The link to the first story will be taken as your entry.

Ok. Sad to hear that. I will make sure not to be hasty next time around.

I sat on the wooden bench in my classroom waiting for the bell to yell . My gloomy eyes full of a gleaming hope as if waiting for the beloved to whisper a soothing melody . Within a moment the bell yelled and it meant what it said , "independence " . I ran out of the school to meet the world on my tiny feet thanking and blessing the bell silently .
