48 months of NDA-BJP rule and 48 years of UPA-Congress rule. Make your own comparison.

Congress on its own and with help of splinter parties did occupy the position of power at the center for 48 years but when you ask the senior citizens who sailed through the governance of Congress, they do not want to comment. On the other hand hardly it is 48 months for the BJP which completed and many risky decisions have been taken and yet it is dubbed by other parties for non performance. What I feel that five year term is very short a period for any party to prove because some programs and projects take time to complete and give results.

Request author to list out achievements of 48 months and 48 years of rules. What is the use of making generic statement like politicians?

As far as I remember NDA was in power earlier also.

    Thanks,
    Suresh.

The author must try for some other rhyming words for raising a thread. Modi Government failed in all departments and it is waste of time to discuss again and again .Your beloved leader KCR also told that.

I am of the opinion that the ruling party or the opposition parties are the two sides of a same river which is never going to meet on any agenda but would be carrying with the actions which could facilitate then in getting again on to the power.

I do believe that the previous governments of different beliefs also worked in the areas of developments & growth but in accordance to that I do find that we were never so much divided as we got during the regime of Congress Party. Whenever we talked of the Congress Party, we only get the image of a giant structure who only speak of the minority groups & even in the minority group they always speak of Muslims only & were never concerned with the other beliefs. We need to note that in our democracy there are Persians also, which forms a very small part of the whole population. May be few thousands only but the Congress Party never ever came in support of them but various schemes for the Muslim community although this forms the second largest population in India.

We never felt so proud of our culture but yes the changes are seen during the last few years. It's a good thing that any project during the time of the current governance were not concerned to any specific caste or the community but being same for all without any bias.

Punch dialogues, articulate skill, and media management are the key players of success for any political party or leader. In the present scenario, a media icon can change the fate of any leader by projecting him good or bad. Same is the case with the comparison of the ruling of two political parties.

After all, it is the eyes that can visualize and beautify anything. Isn't it?

The India today is the India of Congress. Without the Congress party and its rule for many decades, our country would have suffered and not survived. The Congress leaders fought for the freedom and planned well to progress well. What we have seen during the last 48 months is nothing but a change in high currency that helped the black money holders to keep it safely. Then, Rupee One crore needed a big suitcase to stock. Now a small little brief case would suffice. People have been tasked to pay heavy tax on the name of GST. All arenas of life has been affected by the BJP rule.

I don't think we can compare 48 months and 48 years in any field including Politics.

If you look at the stark differences, after independence, any party steering the country forward needs to be credited as they had to start from scratch and build on what the British had given us in terms of administration. For the first few decades, we had to focus on agriculture and then industries. Up till recently, India was considered to be a puppet of Russia and we would often be very low in the pecking order as far as global hierarchy is considered. The boom in IT sector, contribution of the Indian diaspora, digitization, advances in technology etc is seen only the recent years. The differences would be obvious and our judgement would be biased.

I, personally feel, what the various governments achieved should be assessed and compared within a given time frame paying importance to what resources including trade we had for the development of India.

Those who come in support of the Congress Party, should also compare the economy of our country to that of Japan. Both got the freedom almost the same time but now the Japan is one of the biggest economy of the world & India still struggling for the basic facilities like the toilet & the nutrition.

If we decide to go for the comparison then this should be on complete basis & not on predetermined mind set.

If the supporters carried on with the belief that its the Congress Party which make up to the Indian independence then this should also be considered that we became smaller too as one part became Pakistan & another one named as Bangladesh, we have still the disputed land in J&K that still the larger art is on the captivity of Pakistan & China. All this & many more too needs our attention.

Before any such comparison, we have to see the main parameters on which we have to compare them. For example, on corruption, cleanliness and women empowerment the present Govt has an edge while on farmers conditions, unemployment etc it has not got any success. Another main thing is the top leadership. It may be a sheer good luck for our country that after a long gap there is a person on the top who is honest and can declare himself as a Hindu with pride giving all other religions also their secular rights.

So on some fronts, there seems to be some light in the dark night and only after the next term, we can see the perceptible changes.

At present, there is a great resistance of present leadership by the corrupt bureaucrats, corrupt politicians, tax evading business people and persons getting affected by new development policy.

So in this situation, we do not know whether the present Govt will get success in its endeavours or not.

One thing which can be said with certainty is that the earlier Govt was worse than the present one.

    Knowledge is power.
