A tale of two states - Who are responsible for this mess?

Exactly four years ago, the Indian political map featured with its 29th state by name Telangana which got segregated from Andhra Pradesh. There is no doubt that the formation of Telangana was because of the organised and peaceful fight of the the Joint Action committee and the political vision of its present Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. But the other side of the coin can't be ignored which is the shortsighted attitude of the then ruling party aiming to divide the vote share and political gains.

The division of the state of AP has really created a havoc to the residual Andhra and the shadow still continues. The promise to give a Special status Category was broken which resulted in the break-up of ties between BJP and TDP. Whatever be the reason, the ultimate sufferers are the people of Andhra who were totally ditched by all. Here the CM Chandrababu Naidu did a blunder by shifting the administration from Hyderabad to the designated capital Amaravati in a hurry by losing the claim on Hyderabad which is a joint capital for 10 years.

Yesterday one state was celebrating its formation day with joy while the other state pledged by name 'Nav Nirman Deeksha' for its reconstruction and development. This reminds us the failure of elders sometimes while sharing the property between two brothers properly. Isn't it?

A total injustice was done to the state of Andhra Pradesh. The then Congress Chief in a wrong impression expecting a favourable hand from KCR after the state is formed expected good victory to her party. keeping this in mind she had done injustice to the residuary state of Andhra Pradesh. KCR a politician of these days ditched Congress and the people of Telangana gave all credits to KCR. Even the BJP never objected to the division but only tried for some face-saving. Nothing great happened.
In Hyderabad, the CM of AP was never treated as CM of a State. He was to live here as a second rated citizen. At the same all the people of AP has to come to Hyderabad for all works with the government of the government stays in Hyderabad. That will make the Telangana get more revenue and it will be far away also. So Babu has decided to shift to Amaravati.
KCR deceived and BJP deceived Babu. The result is the people of AP are struggling. It is not new to these people. When they got separated from Madras state they lost Madras. Then the capital was at Kurnool. But when the Hyderabad was amalgamated with Andhra Pradesh they lost the capital to Telangana. Now when the AP is divided they lost the capital to Telangana. But I strongly believe that the people of AP are having intelligence and they will accept challenges and definitely in another 5 to 7 years the State will become a No'1 state if not for the whole country at least for South India.

The Congress party wanted to take political advantage by the bifurcation of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh. The BJP statements hastened the process as they promised to bifurcate the State if they came to power. Many promises were made which were not honored by the present NDA Government. The shifting of administration to Amaravati by the Chief Minister is a good decision as the public are saved the inconvenience of going to Hyderabad for their work. The work on the new capital city will also be quickened by this decision. It is the Government of India that is putting hurdles by not releasing the funds promised by them.

On the one hand we feel happy and relieved for having got our separate statehood and that is now 4 years old. On the other hand we feel sorry and blame it on Chandrababu Naidu for taking hasty decision to come out if the NDA and thus paved way for more hostility from the center. There was good equation between TDP and BJP at the center and Naidu should have waited at least for Karnataka election results. Now that BJP lost in Karnataka, they would have shown favor AP and that was must for BJP has they have to get some strong hold in South. So some hasty decisions do cost much.

I don't think it is a hasty decision. The decision is very well though. If he is not coming out of the friendship in the coming elections he has to own the responsibility for not having got a special status or special category. Then Pawan Kalyan and YSR's son will blame this man only. At the same time, Babu will not say anything against BJP as he is in friendship with BJP. Now he can say that he tried his best and but the centre has not conceded and the other's not cooperated. Thus he will have the advantage of showing his fingers to all other strong opponents. Anyhow Congress is a non-existing party in Andhra Pradesh. That way the decisions taken by Babu are very shrewd and will help him in the coming elections.
As pointed out by the author, the present state of AP is due to the faults of elders. The mother has shown partiality towards one son and the pinni (mother's sister) helped the mother with this attitude but shown some facing acts. After the death of the Mother, pinni has become the mother and continuing the same attitude of partiality towards the one son.

The division of any state is done by some of the ambitious politicians who get an opportunity to shape their career which otherwise is a difficult proposition in the undivided territory. So frankly speaking they have nothing to do for the state or its people. Their main agenda is selfish and vested interest.

The main reason for our country having so many states today is the elaborate manipulations by a few mastermind people. How it is related to the progress of our nation is not understandable.

    Knowledge is power.

Before a state is being carved out, there should be a public mandate and the implementation of the decision should be supervised by the SC that would be impartial as far as our country is concerned.

The mess is the price people pay for listening to politicians, their biased views and their false promises. So, we are also responsible for it. In Karnataka, every year there is a fight for Cauvery water with Tamil Nadu and the politicians keep the issue alive but the farmers and the common people close to the borders keep suffering.

In my opinion, N. Chandrababu Naidu and K. Chandrasekhar Rao are equally responsible for the undivided state of Andhra Pradesh. They themselves divided the state to enjoy power. The people of these two states are suffering due to their hunger for power.
Beware! I question everything and everybody.

The reason for the separation of Telangana from AP that over the years, the TS was neglected and not developed there by the people remained poor and un cared. Thanks to bifurcation. Now our CM K Chandrasekhara Rao has formulated such schemes, which has become the envy for other states to emulate. The Mission Katatiya which envisages cleaning, enlarging, developing and even creating new lakes in every town and city proved helpful since four years as every region has been benefited with natural water and the irrigation is now possible. Like wise the Rhythu Bandhu scheme of providing 8000 per acre to every farmer in the state has resulted in farming community need not go for private finance or bank loan for their initial stage to raise a crop. Thus KCR has become famous and sought after for his forth right vision to develop the state.
