A tale of two states - Who are responsible for this mess?Exactly four years ago, the Indian political map featured with its 29th state by name Telangana which got segregated from Andhra Pradesh. There is no doubt that the formation of Telangana was because of the organised and peaceful fight of the the Joint Action committee and the political vision of its present Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. But the other side of the coin can't be ignored which is the shortsighted attitude of the then ruling party aiming to divide the vote share and political gains.
The division of the state of AP has really created a havoc to the residual Andhra and the shadow still continues. The promise to give a Special status Category was broken which resulted in the break-up of ties between BJP and TDP. Whatever be the reason, the ultimate sufferers are the people of Andhra who were totally ditched by all. Here the CM Chandrababu Naidu did a blunder by shifting the administration from Hyderabad to the designated capital Amaravati in a hurry by losing the claim on Hyderabad which is a joint capital for 10 years.
Yesterday one state was celebrating its formation day with joy while the other state pledged by name 'Nav Nirman Deeksha' for its reconstruction and development. This reminds us the failure of elders sometimes while sharing the property between two brothers properly. Isn't it?
