Satirical Approach For Global Warming & Climatic Changes!

Air conditioning is a major contributor to global warming & so how far do we feel appropriate for managing meetings & talking of Global Warmings while sitting in an AC room. The biggest of the world level meetings on this subjects are happening in the biggest of towns while the boundary walls are closed but the AC's are keep on running not letting us know the temperature outside. While moving around in the vehicles, are also fixed with the powerful AC's emitting the harmful radiations which damaging the Green house effect. There is no way that this is going to be stopped.

For our information, Air conditioners use refrigerants, and some of the most common types — hydrofluorocarbons, or HFCs — are powerful greenhouse gases, with thousands of times the warming potential of carbon dioxide. If HFC use continues to grow at its current pace, these chemicals could make up as much as 19 percent of emissions by 2050.

It's important to note that, "We survived so many decades, like the previous generation had hardly used the AC's but considering the current situation which doesn't allow us to stay in a room without this instrument & so imagine the next generation, whether they can live without it or not".

Earlier, there were many chemicals including the earlier generation of refrigerants which were very harmful to the environment in many ways including one that of damaging the protective ionized layers around the Earth.

The new refrigerants are not as harmful as the earlier ones and more and more new alternatives are being searched by the scientific community through R&D bit yes the present ones are also harming the Earth habitat.

Still, the increasing use of AC is an alarming trend and the issue requires a review at the global level to motivate the world Govt to go for alternative technologies.

The global warming issue was addressed by carbon footprints and carbon credits methodology to some extent but complete ban on activities leading to global warming has not been in force till now.

The author has started a good discussion on the stark realities of our living standards today which are openly doing harm to the environment by degrading it in one way or other.

    Knowledge is power.

Using fluorocarbons for refrigeration is in practice now also but the efficiency of the equipment is improved so that the release of fluorine gas and carbon gases into the atmosphere are less. Still, people are trying to find out a replacement for these chemicals and no replacement is out there so far as fas as my knowledge goes. I feel coolers are a good replacement to ACs. It will keep the atmosphere temperature less and no gas emissions. I prefer these coolers than ACs.
It is the ACs you are talking about domestic use. But there are many manufacturing organisations where very powerful refrigeration systems for controlling the reaction temperatures and other activities are in use and they are of high capacity and work for 24 hours a day.
So stopping usage in houses is not a solution but finding out a green chemical to replace the presently used chemicals is the requirement of the day.

We need to go for the alternative solutions in order to stop this or else we would be opting for slow death & which for sure we wouldn't be interested into.
