i know how to make chapaties but not its round shape.i am expert in making salad. i can also make good omlate.

I also know how to make chapaties with perfect round shape. I will make soft chapaties and its very easy to make chapaties .

how to make a chappatti
Cup of flour.
Touch of salt.
Hot water to make a softish dough, rather like playdoh than plasticine. Indeed playdoh is only flour and water.
Play with the dough until it is pliable. Pinch off a walnut size piece and rollout thinly. Hers came out perfectly. Mine were lopsided
Heat a grid on the gas hob. We used a special gadget that is like a flat metal colander. A pizza tray with holes in will be OK, or even a BBQ griddle . A frying pan would also do.
Cook the chappatty on medium heat on one side for about 1 minute, then flip over and cook the other side. Turn up the heat. The chappatty will balloon up. Bash it down with a metal fish slice. Flip. It will balloon again. Bash it down. Flip. Repeat again until it looks lovely.
Place in a warm place.
Turn the heat to medium. Make more......
Delicious.

I have made chappatis of various shapes and sizes. I have made chappatis which look round, conical, rectangular, oval and a few more. I love to experiment with new dishes. I have made a new salad which is known as Summer Surf And Turf. Would anyone like to know the recipe?

Even i know how to make a good chappati for that matter. If you are not able to make round ones, just use a short plate to cut your chappati.It will be perfectly round.

I make various kinds of dishes but I got the inspiration from a TV Program named Top Chef which used to be aired on AXN. I loved both the seasons and it is my dream to be a Top Chef. Has anyone around here heard about that program? If so please reply to this message.
