Editing resources is not an easies as you are thinking, you are telling that pendings are increased nowadays, but nowadays pendings are decreased it was 1000+ when i joined as editor ,now it is just 200+.
Don't try to discourage editors like me by posting this kind of forums.

If u want to be an editor means just approach straightly don't use this kind of things to get into editing section.
This will not help you to get into editing section, keep this in mind. Contact Mr.Tony if you want to be editor,and don't blame editors always.
Nothing will be happen if you blame editors just give your valuable contribution to ISC and will become editor of ISC. And again I am telling that these kind of postings will not help you to become editor.

26 New submissions and 276 pending resources are not at all shows Editing is in pending. Every second we are getting a resource posted, is it possible to edit at the moment it is posted?
What you have mentioned second is very valid argument, As of now, only after editing recent posts, we can move onto the next one, I have already requested Tony to make this in reverse order, so that we can serve our members in "First come First Serve Basis" . This updation will be done very soon.

Every member in ISC has right to criticise our Editing work or ISC.
Dont forget that we are here for just serving our beloved members of this family on bahalf of the site Administrators, not to rule over them, always use soft approach with members.

You just seen this forum only , she posted a forum daily like this and criticising me and you (editors).
How long i can keep silence. If I didn't do any editing means i will agree with her that editing section is slow, but i am doing approximately 500-800 editings daily. Even i am working in Sundays and saturdays. But she is telling that we (editing) are not working.
This type of forums discouraging me and i don't know about you. If you are having bad opinion about me means no problem, i just expressed my words there.
Only hard workers knows the pain of criticising and discouraging.

I responded to neyha everytime whenever she is asking doubts and everytime when she post some URL and ask to review and i reviewed immediately and respond to her, but still she is telling that we editors are not active.

I dont have any bad opinion on you, i agree that you are hard working, Its just a request to use soft approach with members, then its upto you.
Again im telling Members have full freedom to criticise us and Site Admins, ofcourse we can correct ourselves by these.

Hi everyone,
Thanks to all who criticise us because that will help us to make ISC a better place.
I like criticism for several reasons, but the most important one is, people criticise us when they "care". I know there are 100s of people who don't like various things in this site and they walk away from ISC without telling us a word. But few people bother to spend time to criticise us, which gives us a chance to understand our problems.
Another reason is, the regular critics eventually becomes the most active contributors !
Regarding Neyha's criticism, I have to say that after people like Ram, Bharath and many others joined as Editors, we have made significant progress in editing.
The 26 New and 276 pending means there are only 26 new posts waiting for approval. The 276 pending ones ar epending because editors moved temporarily made them inactive since it require further discussion before they can be approved.
Thanks to everyone for their efforts to make ISC a better place.
Let us be nice and friendly to all ISC family members.

Common people don't fight like kids. Bharat get used to the criticizing because these will only benefit IndiaStudyChannel just like Tony said. Anyway you and neyha both used tough languages. But I appreciate your work Bharat and I really like it when you reply superfast. It's amazing! You are surely working very hard and if I ever got a chance to meet you, I will surely congratulate you on your effort. In fact all the editors deserve kudos. Bharat i did not mean to discourage you or criticize your work.You have been an wonderful editor .I did not say that editors are inactive .I just said that ISC is getting very popular and it would be better if there are more editors to speed up the process but that does not mean that that you guys have not doing a good job .If you guys have not been doing well would the resource section have only 276 pending resources wouldn't it be more than that.There are 43478 registered members found in this website.Average new registrations per day (in last one week) is 166.Imagine the amount of resource that would be submitted if all of them decides to submite atleast 3 messages a day.But then some of them do not participate at all after registration.The reason i posted this message is not because i want to be an editor ,you have misunderstood my intentions bharat.If i want to become an editor i would be approaching tony and not be posting messages like this.I do sincerely apologise for hurting your feelings ,i did not mean to do that.You have been replying to all the members doubhts spontaneously ,why would anyone ever complain against your work?Please do not take this message personaly bharat.I appreciate the efforts of all the editors and am not against anyone.

Bharat I agree with neyha. When I was reading her posts, I did not find anything offensive, it's just that you took it the wrong way. Don't worry, it happens. Stay cool and calm and you won't have anything to worry about. Tony try to find a few more editors who will help Bharat and reduce his workload and strain. I seriously can feel your pain Bharat, but don't worry things will sorted out fast!

I agree to what Tony says. It is important to take criticisms in a positive note. We all have the feeling that people who criticize us to hurt us. But we are wrong. It is our friends who accept us for whatever we do that we should stay away from, as they do not help us improve. Bharat just rewind little bit into your past and see if all the friends who have supported you in whatever you did has it improved you or have people who have criticized you help improve. A honest answer please. We tend to like the comfort zone that we built around us through friends and relatives and family members who do not criticize us. But we do not realize that it does not help us improve. I hope you take those suggestions in good way and carry on the good work you are doing. You contribution to ISC makes it more popular day by day. Even though we have not taken time to thank them all for the good work that you people have been doing for the past couple of months. There has been a drastic improvement in ISC after you people have joined in and I think Tony would agree to that. There has been a lot of occasions where I have discussed certain features with Tony and he had been very busy with the daily editing of posts that these features have not be made possible for quite sometime. But now I find that slowly new features and programs like mentors etc. are being introduced regularly since Mr.Tony is being assisted by the new team of Editors. Hats of to all of you.

Hi to all my friends
For anythings either good or bad, there should be someone who comments on that. But after coming to a stage, you should try to take the things always in positive manner. Mr. Bharath you are helping the members by giving immediate reply. But see in a bucket of milk, you put a drop of salt, what will be the result. So, kindly think the other way You are like milk, the ego or stress sometimes matters much. The good qualities though they may be several, but sometimes harsh sayings matters. So, my suggestion is let it be any member or editor, any question should be answered politely. Afterall we are all one. There is no big or small in the world. If I have hurt anybody's feelings, I feel sorry to them.
