May be here is a link which can help you a little,
http://www.sudhirlaw.com/indiandivorceact.htm
“When two people decide to get a divorce, it isn't a sign that they "don't understand" one another, but a sign that they have, at last, begun to.”

As far as I know the divorcees can revert back to their maiden names if they like to.
Your children will have your name as their mother. Your divorce certificate will itself be the proof for you isn't it?
Your marriage certificate will also be there with you unless you tear it off.
Children themselves will know who their mother is and none can take away the mother's rights, not even the law.
What I am telling you is common sense and logic, not law. Please contact a lawyer to know more, or just log on to the site online. http://www.vakilno1.com/
