How do see the growth of Indian economy of 2018 to that of 2011?

India has become the sixth largest economy in the world, overtaking France, according to World Bank figures but in comparison in 2011, India was world's 3rd largest economy based on GDP (PPP) and its share of world GDP was 6.4% which was after USA & China.

How do you take the above data & is the position gained or position lost?

India is the world's sixth-largest economy by nominal GDP and the third-largest by purchasing power parity (PPP). The third position is based on the purchasing capacity of Indians whereas the sixth position is based on GDP.
Gross National Product in India increased to 12865461 INR Tens Of Million in 2017 from 12051525 INR Tens Of Million in 2016. Gross National Product in India averaged 10573512.43 INR Tens Of Million from 2011 until 2017, reaching an all-time high of 12865461 INR Tens Of Million in 2017 and a record low of 8659505 INR Tens Of Million in 2011. These statistics are collected from internet and they show the 6th rank based on GDP is a better financial position rather than 3rd position based on PPP. Even now also India is 3rd in its rank based on PPP.
