There is nothing left to say about Chinese mobiles. They are cheap but have lots of features. They are really good if you are on a low budget. Typical Chinese mobiles cost from Rs.2500-7000. The battery to be frank is very useless and rubbish. So be sure to carry your charger wherever you go. Mobile features I must say is excellent and I think you should look out for 5MP camera, touchscreen, video player and dual sims. Will cost around Rs.6000. Dual SIM is a great option. Build Quality can be compared to cast iron though not as bad, but strictly cheap. The performance is strictly OK.

It is your final decision if you wish to buy or not.

BEFORE BUYING CHECK IF YOUR SELLER IS ASSURING YOU OF A ONE YEAR GUARANTEE BECAUSE YOU WOULD HAVE TO BE LUCKY TO SPEND MORE THAN A YEAR WITH IT!

I purchased CKing Mobile phone with dual sim , dual camera, touch screen ,bluetooth, IR. It costed me around 7500. I also got 2 batteries. My Observations:

1. Battery Life: Sicne the screen is touch screen and also screen size is big, battery seems to get over very fast. You have to charge the batteries daily.

2. Signal Reception: To my surprise, signal reception is good. Even is a closed AC room or conference room, I was getting full signal bar.

3. Quality of Head Phone/Mic: very poor. Everytime I talk to other person via phone, I gto thte common complain, "Pls say loudly" even though I am speaking loudly.

4. Sound Quality of speakers: Only good if you are listining music using headphone that too output not too good.

5. No GSM support by India's service provider: Chinies phone supports GPRS/WAP but when i contacted my service provider (airtel) for activating GPRS on the set, they said that they do not provide support for chinies and korean phones.

6. Oerating System: After using Nokia for last 5 years, we the people are so must acustomed with nokia menu,it OS ,its features that every now and then you will compare chinies phone features with Nokia's one and will compromise with it.

According to my verdict.. only go for Chinies set if your budget is low and you don't care of features or quality of phone.

Out of 5 only 1.5

Smart buys under 10k of China Mobiles:

For those who want fancy phones with touch screen, with which you can watch movies, use two SIM cards simultaneously, and still walk away with no hole in your pocket, here are some cheap yet smart phones for you. They may be nameless ‘Chinese Mobiles,’ yet all of them have excellent features and are priced between Rs 3,500 to Rs 9,000.

The V323 mobile has a superbly clear 3-inch touchscreen display that’s great for watching videos and TV, if you have the reception. The interface looks identical to Nokia Symbian interface handsets, so navigation should be easy for Nokia users. Equipped with a 1.3MP camera, the best thing about the V323 is that it supports dual SIM cards, both GSM, both of which are simultaneously active.

The TV01 supports dual SIM cards, with a dedicated button to switch between the two. This handset has a large touchscreen interface that supports quite a high resolution. Feature-wise the TV01 is quite well equipped with multimedia, a 1.3MP camera and the relevant features that all mobile handsets come with. They also offer an external speaker for your music.

This ‘Ultra-Fashion’ handset is fashioned on the Samsung F300 model. This handset has two separate displays, one on each side of the phone. One is a phone side with regular features while the other side is a full fledged PMP with a large display and a five-way nav-pad. A specially designed carry case comes with a cradle and flaps to cover either end. All one has to do is simply flip open the side you wish to use.

I Would like to start by saying that i am not a fan of these mobile phones.
The reason being that they don't have any guarantee. The quality of these products is far below the standards of Mobile Phones of Companies like Nokia or Motorola.
They may offer u many options but what good are these options if their quality is third class.

cmon guys even my milk man owns a China set.

Supporting dual sims or providing tv options and touch screen for just below 7K seems too good to be true. The life's span of these products is very short. The reason why they cost so less is because of the quality of microchips being used in them other than the fact that they are being smuggled into INDIA and are escaping Duty.

I would prefer a Nokia or a Motorola to a China set.

But it does give u Options and gives the people who cannot afford the real stuff a taste of technology.

Hi All,

The look and feel seems to be good but every thing in this world has its own advantages and disadvantages ... even, I thought to buy china mobile and visited many shops the models are really impressive .. I have seen a mobile for which the integration is superb .. I never seen that type of integration in any mobiles .. one can have the feature as TV, dual camera, dual sim and good picture clarity ..
But the disadvantage I came to know is these mobiles badly effects brain than any other mobiles ..
logically speaking if manufacture can give you the mobile with good features in less than 10k .. then the quality they use or the norms they follow will definetely down the expectations ..

Suggestion : Don't go for china model if you are more on phone than real life ..
