Quota Reservation in Maharastra- Fadnavis government ready with 16 percent, will courts agree ?

We all know that the quota reservation stir across Maharastra state and yesterday it turned violent in Pune as many buses, private vehicles were attacked and two persons committed suicide in support of the agitation that forced the Maharastra government to act. The CM Mr Fadnavis has said that his government is ready for 16 per cent reservation, but has expressed doubts whether the Courts would agree for such reservation of high order which may deprive other classes. Just suggest the CM how to deal with this catch 22 situation?

The demand of reservation for Maratha community is often compared to Haryana's Jat or Gujarat's Patel agitation. Maratha is a dominant community in Maharashtra, constituting 32 per cent of the population.
Maratha reservation has backed by all the major parties. It was mentioned in theBJP manifesto during the 2014 assembly elections. A few days before these elections, the Congress-NCP government promulgated an ordinance to give 16 per cent reservation to the Marathas, which was struck down by the High Court.
The first person responsible for this present situation is the Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. He declared 72,000 government jobs and he mentioned that 16 per cent of them would be reserved for the Marathas. That was the first straw. At the brink of the election, Maratha youngsters wondered if the CM is playing a game with them, which led to the protests.
Now the situation is going beyond control. Now the same man has to bring the situation to normal in the state. He has to either act tough by enacting police action on the agitating people or he has to recommend and send the recommendations to the central government for approval.
