The comparisons we need to make in between the two economies who got independence on almost the same

I am referring to a nation or a country named as Japan, who got its independence in 03.05.1947. Just a bit ahead, the India got its independence in 15.08.1947. But do you feel that we can be going ahead with the comparisons within these two countries & should be justified then? I don't feel so.

The Congress party has often referred by themselves as the only party fought for the freedom of our country & takes credit for everything which we see around except for the nuisances & the miseries, for which they go on blaming the BJP & the other Hindutva forces. However we know this is just a political stunt so as to turn the voters in their favor.

We wouldn't be in the denial mode of the prevalent circumstances & the consequences that follows aftermath but just read in the below para for the prevalent circumstances of Japan during the we both got our independence.

"During the final stage of World War II, the United States detonated two nuclear weapons over the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6 and 9, 1945, respectively. The two bombings killed at least 129,000 people, most of whom were civilians. In the final year of the war, the Allies prepared for what was anticipated to be a very costly invasion of the Japanese mainland. This undertaking was preceded by a conventional and firebombing campaign that destroyed 67 Japanese cities. Over the next two to four months, the acute effects of the atomic bombings killed 90,000–146,000 people in Hiroshima and 39,000–80,000 people in Nagasaki; roughly half of the deaths in each city occurred on the first day. Large numbers of people continued to die from the effects of burns, radiation sickness, and other injuries, compounded by illness and malnutrition, for many months afterward. The ethical and legal justification for the bombings is still debated to this day."

"They remain the only use of nuclear weapons in the history of warfare."

Now in the below para, let's know something about it's economy,

"The economy of Japan is a highly developed and market-oriented economy. It is the third-largest in the world by nominal GDP and the fourth-largest by purchasing power parity (PPP) &is the world's second largest developed economy. In addition, Japan is the world's third largest automobile manufacturing country, has the largest electronics goods industry, and is often ranked among the world's most innovative countries leading several measures of global patent filings."

And where we are & what we are doing? I would go on adding that we so much handicapped that we still need reservation for our growth & survival. How sad?
