    Be it any discipline, sports brings instant success and fame to those who have the niche to win over others. My maid servant daughter who is the runner, has brought gold and silver medals in the recently held state level running championship and brought glory to the state. She has been consistent in getting medals and cups from childhood and hailing from a poor family and her mother does the maid servant work in many homes, the support for girl is huge and also monetary support is also given. So what the author said is right. If any one associated with any sport, the activity becomes more interesting in life.

    Playing games and sports always make us fit and slim. Those will make us refresh and happy. We will not get into depression or dullness if we participate in sports and games. The winning or losing in the competitions is entirely a different issue. But participation and practising the sports is good for maintaining our health and stamina. There are people who excel in some sports and gets awards and rewards. But each participant will have his own benefits. That is why in our education system Physical training is a part and some time is devoted for that. But these days the corporate colleges and schools are not giving that much importance to these faculties and even parents also not worried about it.
    Every person playing cricket may not become Sachin Tendulkar or Rahul Dravid. But definitely, they will maintain good health and stamina. So I think parents should encourage their children to spend some time in these activities also.

    The positive physical effects of sports are known to us all but I believe it is definitely helpful in many other ways. It improves our mood and reduces stress as well as depression. It hones a team spirit as well as leadership capabilities in a person. It improves focus and concentration and sleep patterns. It contributes positively to self -confidence. And most importantly, it instills a spirit of sportsmanship and makes failure palatable.
    One of the biggest challenges of our generation is our inability to bow down in front of someone and accept defeat. Playing sports improves our ability to perform under pressure and we come to appreciate the fact that one failure is not the end of life.
