Well there are some good Indian search engines as well.
Some of them are:
1.www.guruji.com guruji.com is the effort of some master brain hailing from IIT.I think it is the first and the most popular Indian search engine.
2.Irazoo The most interesting thing about this search engine is that every search you make earns you points.Also you can refer sites during your search which will be shown when someone else searches for the same keyword.This earns you more points.You can accumulate your points and win anything from a pen drive to a PS3 to a Nintendo DS
