August, 2018: We have lost three popular leaders within ten days

In the month of August, 2018, some very popular and respected political leaders are leaving the mortal world one after another. On 7th August, 2018, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and a leader in the forefront of Tamil movement, Muthuvel Karunanidhi left the world at an age of 94. On 13th August, 2018, noted Parliamentarian, former CPI(M) leader and former Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Somnath Chatterjee passed away. He was an immensely popular leader of West Bengal. And yesterday (16th August, 2018), we lost Bharat Ratna and three-time Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, forever.

We may or may not support their political ideologies, but we can't deny their impact on Indian politics. It would take years to fill the void created due to their demise.

[P.S.: On 15th August, 2018, we also lost Ajit Wadekar, who was actively involved in cricket politics of Mumbai and also of India.]

Yes August seems to be inauspicious to the India as stalwarts of this country died one after other and though they were aged, but their death is the inseparable loss to the country. While Karunanidhi was tall leader of the DMK and also of National importance died after prolong illness. The Former Lok Sabha speaker Somnath Chatterjee, who conducted the house proceedings with much decorum. And finally the colossus Atal Bihari Vajpayee, left us with silence , and every one across the country were shell shocked with his death. And also cricketer Wadekar also died in this month.

    Karunanidhi, DMK (94) 1924 - 2018
    Somnath Chatterjee, CPI(M)(89) 1929 - 2018
    Atal Bihari vajpayee. BJP (94) 1924 - 2018

The nation has lost the true and patriotic leaders of India's three major political parties. Apart from being a politician, Karunanidhi was a great writer and orator. Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a great poet and orator, and Somnath Chatterjee was a good speaker.

This is the reality of the life wherein we all have come together to accomplish a certain job & when this is done then it's time for us to leave for another big tasks. Different spiritual books would define those differently & so it's up to us to decide about what we feel right & perform our jobs accordingly. This is neither the first time nor the last time that we have felt of losing someone. But for whatsoever reasons, how we are going to get remembered after we remained no more is more important here. Let the soul be in peace of those legends.

Yes. It is true. we have lost three important eminent great leaders of Indian politics this August. As mentioned by the author the three persons are from three different ideologies. But each of them is having their impact in a profound way on Indian Political arena. They have accomplished what they have to accomplish and they have gone. But the good lessons we have learnt from them should be remembered by the people in the political field and try to serve the nation. All should remember the words of ATAL. First Nation, second party and then self. This order can't be changed under any condition. Then we can say we have respect for this great leaders.
