Stalin will do a splendid job

The lovely speech rendered by Stalin, the beacon of hope for all Tamils, yesterday, was a huge success. It was electrifying. He was so unassuming. Missing in him was the spark of his late father. He has not much of literary skill.

Still, Stalin was the first to acknowledge this. The DMK is a superb party of splendid bare foot soldiers. Stalin means business. Recently, a party fellow, along with his friends, entered a biriyani shop and demanded free food. When that was refused they simply beat up the guys in the small hotel. Stalin personally visited them and comforted them.

The guys in question were sacked immediately. In Stalin, one can always see firmness. After all, people are also good when they are good. He was terribly a changed man when he was the Mayor of Chennai. It was he who built the huge bridges. It was he who planted thousands of trees. It was he who entrusted the cleaning to a private party, even when was torn apart by those in the opposition. The contracts were through open tender. Larsen and Toubro was the world-class company involved in constructing all bridges during his regime. Those with some conscience will vouch for his superb rapport with his people in his constituency.

Tamil Nadu is in safe hands. Once he becomes the Chief Minister, he will be able to work for the development of the state.

First of all my congrats and best wishes to Thalapathy Stalin for assuming as the Party chief of age old Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam which has the strong cadre and rearing to snatch power from the confused and corrupted AIADMK. When every one thought that after the death of Jaya and now Karunanidhi, the future of Dravidian politics is sealed and other forces would occupy the St George fort citadel. But the way Stalin has managed the party and kept the cadre to his flock has proved that he can manage the power once elected. But what is bothering many that the rising of protest and mass strike being planned by Azhagiri sect on Sept 5th. So TN should not be a battle ground for the show of strength between these two leader of DMK. Instead Stalin should send feelers and pacify Azhagiri so that the smooth transition takes place.

No Sir. This fellow should be outside the party. He should never be in. He can never acquire the status of Stalin. Let him be out of the party. The DMK will never be bothered about the 5th Sep show of strength. The AIADMK will do its best to bring in people as it will try to gain an advantage.

We can only hope. Sixty-three-year-old young man Stalin had been waiting in the wings for a quite long time. Now, the stage belongs to him. Let us also see how his elder brother Azhagiri helps him.
Beware! I question everything and everybody.

Now AIADMK is not having a good mass puller and the sympathy factor of Karunanidhi's death will give some edge to DMK. If the skills of the leader add flavour, the chances of winning will be more for DMK. But internal politics and back stabbing should be properly dealt.
The two major giants of film industry are not able to make any impact on the state politics, I think. As such the main contenders will be AIADMK and DMK only. Because of the contributions of Stalin as a Mayor of the city his party may be able to go through the elections successfully.
If Stalin can deal the matters with due care and see that he will get good reputation as the Chief of his party, the chances of winning in the coming elections will be good for him.

A blunt knife or rusted knife can't be useful for anything just for the sake we call it as the knife similar to PayTM series or Sachin or Virat records.

Why Azhagiri has turned as bad person in the eyes of all because he had been consistently denied access to the party and party functions and that his sidelining creating a aloofness and thus going in wrong route. Since Stalin wants to take everyone with him to good future for the party ,what is wrong if Azhagiri be given one chance to change himself , otherwise there is every chance DMK being split in future and that was my apprehesion.

The 'l' in the name of Azhagiri is not normal 'l' of English or any other language. This typical 'l' is found only in the Tamil language.

Azhagiri, though a son of late CM Karunanidhi, has no much political image except for Madurai where he lives and rules with his money and muscle power. A leader who cannot deliver any impressive speech to attract the mass. He was an MP and union minister for chemical and fertilizer, and not proved as an efficient minister. This is the reason, why Karunanidhi kept him aside. Stalin is a matured politician who had his difficult times and good times.

AIADMK has become weak after JJ's death and Sasikala's imprisonment. TTV Dinakaran and his party Amma DMK is no match to DMK. Vijayakanth's DMDK 's validity got expired. Rajnikanth is not interested in politics now. He cannot be trusted. The Tamils kept him out as an outsider in Tamilnadu politics. Kamalahasan is trying his best with his newly formed party. His upcoming is doubtful. Both BJP and Congress cannot survive in Dravidian land.

DMK has a strong base in Tamilnadu. The party is sure of winning election with its good alliance partners. MK Stalin is likely to emerge as next CM of Tamilnadu.

Karunanidhi joined politics from the grass root level and made his family rich. MK Stalin was born with silver spoon. He never experienced the life like his father Karunanidhi. There is no dearth of wealth and money. Karunanidhi has it for his many generations. Hence, Stalin will concentrate and dedicate his life for the betterment of Tamilnadu and its people. I am sure.

@ Bhushan: In Tamil, there are three types of L pronounced differently. One is l, other is ll, the third one is zh.
    E.g.
    L - Paalam(Bridge)
    LL - Kallan (Thief)
    ZH - Azhagu(Beauty)

It is the speciality of Tamil and Malayalam which has three types of 'L'

SuN has put it correctly. Beyond Madurai, he may win a few seats. The party men are not supportive. As Sir has pointed out correctly, Alagiri cannot even speak a few words in correct English. His performance as a Union Minister was not up to the mark. Yes, Dr Kalaignar became very impatient when he started demanding the Chief post and the most important role, ahead of Stalin. This overbearing attitude did not go well with the seniors in the party also. Today, the AIADMK is there to fish in all troubled waters and hence the outfit lead by Alagiri will have or seem to have some support. But this is a temporary thing and he cannot get any support. He is so unwilling to accept Stalin's leadership. So, let us forget this person as a non-entity. He might team up with BJP and Rajnikant and the combined votes will be slightly better than the NOTA votes. Please do note that Rajnikant is never appreciated by people, who feel that he does not do anything for people, except talking big in his movies. BJP will lose if Alagiri and Rajnikant support the party.

    ABShivakumar,
It is not beyond south of Madurai. It is only Madurai city where he flies his flag. If he join hands with any other party that doesn't go well with DMK, even people of Madurai won't vote for him calling him as a traitor. If he joins with any AIADMK group of EPS or OPS or TTV, it would be a shame and insult to his father Dr. Karunanidhi. I do not think any party in Tamilnadu will take him as their alliance partner. Like Kanimozhi, Azhagiri has a daughter by name 'Kayalvizhi'. She can prove herself better than MK Azhagiri, if she joins politics.

An excellent analysis of the political future of DMK post-Karunanidhi time. But can Stalin win Tamil Nadu without the support of his elder brother? Even if he wins, can he manage to run the Government smoothly without his brother's help?
Beware! I question everything and everybody.

Stalin is slowly trying to get the full control of the party and it is possible that he may lead it for quite some time.

In politics we do not know to what extent the disgruntled or power hungry politicians will go but there are always chances of defection after the demise of the popular leaders like Karunanidhi.

    Knowledge is power.

Just now got the media information that Azhagiri is ready to accept Stalin as the CM in case DMK comes to the power , that means decks are cleared for Stalin without dissent.

Mr MK Azhagiri knows the strength of MK Stalin, and his own weaknesses. Therefore, the ultimate decision is to kneel down before Dr. Anbhazhagan, the General Secretary of DMK (their Periyappa)and request for an apology for his mistakes, and also to provide him a berth in assembly, if DMK wins election and comes to power. Now Madurai is sure of getting a seat for DMK in the next election. It is Ms. Selvi D/O Dr. Karunanidhi and blood sister of MK Azhazgiri & MK Stalin who mediates between the two brothers to cooperate and have only one DMK without any split.
