Why the South Indian producers and Directors take risk of making high end movies with huge cost ?

We all know that Rajnikanth starrer 2.0 is going to hit the screens later in this year and the teaser released recently has enthused more interest in his fans as even Hindi actor Akshay Kumar is acting in negative role and that should be more connecting to Hindi audience too. But it was told that the film has so far incurred a expense of 500 crores and post production works are still to go. That means the cost of this film will exceed beyond imagination. Why the South Indians directors and producers are going for high end movies by risking more investments ?

Expecting good returns, these producers and directors are gambling with a very high money. When the producers are able to bring such a money director will try to make the film more rich and attractive so that many people will come and see the movie. Many of the big budget movies are hits and they are realizing a very huge money. This point is encouraging the producers to go for investing a very high amount.
