Coffee Server Got 200 cups for 200 employees
By the condition of incentive he will get 200X30 = 6000 Paises
But the vender Reci=eived Rs.24/- or 2400 paises as incentive
His loss is 6000-2400 = 3600 paises
Now by condition of broken cup, 90 paise is charged each broken cup
So Broken Cups = 3600/90 =40 cups
Isn't it ?

Yes Khemraj's calculation is right. I think 40 cups is the right answer only. Hey arya, please tell the answer as early as possible.

By the condition of incentive he will get 400X30 = Rs. 120\-
But the vender Received Rs.24/- as incentive
now assume x is a no. of safety cups then no. of broken cups are 400-x. By condition of incentive 30x - (400-x)90 = 2400.
if we solve this equation we will get x= 320 then 400-x means 400-320 = 80 is broken cups.
so answer is 80.

There are 400 cups to be served twice a day.
therefore 400*30=12000 paisey(120 rupees)
now let n cups are not broken
so 30n minus the (400-n)90 will give us the incentive as 24
solving it we get 80 cups as the answer
as 30n-(400-n)90=24
n=80 cups

Yes the answer will be 30 cups were broken
170X30=5100 means he got 51 Rs out of which
30X90=2700 means he lost 27 Rs
So 51-27= 24 Rs.
