That's is good, my is idea is "Shout box" or "messager" because of members can interacting with other members & if any doubt in ISC they can easily interactive with members.

Excellent initiative Tony this will help a lot in the growth of ISC.Lets make the message box a bit more interesting.Introducing smileys would make the messages interesting to read.You can also set alerts whenever a member receives a new message.No matter what section the member is he should get an alert saying he has received a new message.Adding smileys in the forum section will also be good idea .

Wonderful idea. Each and every individual have their own views and ideas. To share the same and if that is more successful in this website, they will be very happy to see the same. As many of the members of ISC cannot have their own websites. ISC is giving them an opportunity to come out with their ideas. If they are successful the confidence in them will increase. They may create wonders too. So for giving such an opportunity we should first thank the webmasters.

Hi,
I have a suggestion to promote ISC but I will need the editors/webmasters help in this.
As of now we do not have any newsletter.
We can start of a newsletter that could cite the important points/discussions happened during a particular period.
The member can decide if he/she wants to receive it fortnightly or monthly on their mail address.
They can also have option to enable/disable the newsletter sent to them.This would reduce SPAM too.
Also, these newsletters could have internal options as to what kind of news about the site-as to what discussions/topics they are interested in, so that only those topics are mailed to the interested member.
The newsletter received to us could thus be circulated among our friends/colleagues to publicize.
As of now, we can keep these for members, else we can keep these newsletters open for non-members too - opening more avenues..!! :)
This will remind people of ISC if they forget about it.
I hope this suggestion will make me eligible for "ISC Idea Star" Award.

Ya, I'll be glad to do this.
I suggest that we have this put on fortnightly or monthly basis because people tend to ignore it if it SPAMS their mailbox weekly.
Regarding filtering of the content, I shall require help of some of the moderators/mentors who would guide me as to which content needs to be posted.Only Selective rich text shall be selected to avoid readers ignoring the mail.
Webmasters can provide the mail addresses of all those interested.
Just let me know when to start :)

To increase the amount of information and correctness about each college , we could have a competition as to which college has most number of resources..!!
Isn't it a brilliant idea.. This could inturn increase the data knowledge of the site for each college.
Moderators can delete irrelevant information about the colleges to make the collaborative data perfect..

as many members have to post their problems , as we saw that the same post was posted by 2 members.
So I thought that we have a seperate link to address to the webmaster.
