Hey dinesh,
In my opinion if you will go for oracle course it would be more benificial for you......
Because as far as the market concern oracle is having more worth than...dot net...
And one more thing the dot net is not complete plateform....
In that C# is still in progress....as well as J# is concerned....it is also not yet been completed.
But all the thing which everybody is looking for is market value...which is with oracle.....

It is true I hundred percent in agreement with Ankit, because Oracle is regarded as the largest database application platform in the world and many multinationals are running their application on oracle. It is believed that oracle is more powerful that any other platform. Another fact is that for a beginner Dot.net may be very friendly and easy to start with. If you desire to make a great career in ICT I will recommend oracle.

You cannot compare oracle database with dot net. Oracle database is a product to sstore your data and no doubt is one of the best db whereas dot net is platform provided by Microsoft using which one can develop windows application, web application, console application etc.
If you are asking about oracle applications such as Oracle Form 6 and dot net applcation then the question arises is that what is the backbone of the application??
If the backbone meanse database you are using oracle then you can bind your application easly with it if you uses oracle application and same for dot net with sql server 2000/2005.
For career prospect, if you want to become DBA, then go for oracle and if you want to be a application developer then go for dot net or java..
