My home town is madurai. it is in tamil nadu.

It is a famous city in this state. the main reason is the meenakshi amman temple which was built many hundred years ago. the main thing to consider is that it was built fully with rock. now only some small areas were repaired with cements and stones.

Also the city is so peacefull to live in. The azhagar koil which is a mountain place. it is so healthy to live there. Then many tourist places like kodaikanal, theni, periyakulam, etc.

The main reason is the culture of the people in that city. The ancient culture of india can be felt in madurai and the south part cities below madurai.

"nellayila mannedutha maduraiyila ponnedutha machakaran." a song in tamil movie. u r lucky if u marry a girl from madurai or southern cities. Also peple were so helpful, caretaking, polite
etc.

i think it is enough to say about my town
