It totally depends on how you look at it.
No doubt it has made our life much more easy.. there are number of examples .. from from booking a airline ticket to searching for a flat in your desired locality.. from b/w tv to LCD plasma tv.. it has really made our life smooth..but it is on us how deep we get ourself under this technology mes. Daily new gadgets hit markets, we feel that mobile is more reliable friend to us than our parents, tv gets preference to family gathering..
these small small things when gets piled up., makkes one life a hell... So the bottom line is that its boon as well as curse ...

my view is as technology is improving its adding to the comfort of human beings destroying the very essence of nature and orignality.
technology is adding value to the total work done by humans. As rightly said by our friend its two sides of a coin.
there are advantages and disadvantages.
technology has gone beyond boundaries and widened our horizons towards other planets rather staring at the sky looking for gods place and heavens.

Hi all
I feel it is having both the effects. Life has become more easier with the invention of many products like cooker, gas, oven, flights, fax, emails etc.
But in the same way technology has developed in making the harmful drugs and bombs, cell phone bombs, viruses etc.
So it is having the negative and positive effects. But since it is having some negative effects, we cannot say development of technology is harmful. No it is not like that. The people's mind should be changed for not using the technology for destroying the hopes of the people.

Yes.Technology has made life easier.consider following examples- 1) better healthcare facilities has lead to prolonged survival.Premature babies are surviving.CT & MRI scan help in diagnosis.Advanced surgeries are possible.Emergency cases can be managed effectively.
2) travel - availability of airtravel , fast trains which saves time.World is coming closer
