It's a shame. What is the government doing? Have they dosed off to sleep? Or what? There is a total economic crisis going in India. Just a few days ago, P. Chidambaram attributed the rising inflation because of the high fuel prices. Now, even when the oil prices have come down, inflation is going up fast. Last week, the UPA government stated that inflation has been brought under control and will stabilise within a few days. Then what is this? Where is the Finance Ministry? Not even coming out in front of the public and showing their faces. What is going on? I think the UPA government really doesn't care about it anymore.

As per economic watch, it is likely that higher inflation rates will be with us for a good while yet and that is surely a worrying news for the government of India. That to during the election year.
Much hopes were placed on P. Chidambaram but he has failed in his second stint. His first stint was good and talked in india.
