Hi Mahesh,
You must understand that Tony is a very busy person. He is managing 11 more popular sites similar to IndiaStudyChannel. He doesn't have much time to edit these footers and change the year as this would involve editing the whole page again just to change the year.
And anyways, even if your friends notice this, there is no harm as this is not a dormant site but a very active site. When you have already requested to him, then it will be done but please don't pressurise him to as he is working to fix bugs and include new features in IndiaStudyChannel. So please wait and be patient. My humble request.
