I agree with you sajith. A man who can't read and a man who can read but doesn't read are in the same side of the fence. If we don't apply what we learn then we are as stupid as those who haven't learnt anything.

Knowledge , I feel ,is the most important thing to possess.
It is an invaluable asset , and will help us throughout our lives. knowledge can be gained by reading books , watching sensible programs on TV , and spending time with wise people.
However , merely possessing knowledge is insufficient. We should know when to apply it. We have to clearly have an understanding , as to when and how our knowledge has to be applied , based on the circumstances or situation.
We also have to impart our knowledge to others , so that everyone can benefit from it. However , this has to be done in such a manner that the other person is not bored.

Hi Sajith, I agree with your views. If we do not apply our knowledge then it is of no value, however we still get to boast over our degrees. This is the reason why companies prefer experienced candidated over freshers, because they know that the freshers have only passed in exams with/without understanding the course so they are not apt for applying their knowledge, they are therefore groomed before placing them in real life scenarios.

Hi Sajith, I agree with you. Mere knowledge wont do any good. The success lies in its practice. Knowledge will be complete once you start practicing what you learned. And of one learns only one fourth of the knowledge from from his teachers, one fourth is learned through group discussions with his friends and colleagues, another one fourth he acquires from learning by himself , by reading books etc and one fourth is learned through the course of time -through one's experiences in life.
