well some of the suggestions I can think are:
1. Giving away some cash credit to the best resource of the week/day.
2. Prizes to the members who have answered the queries asked by various others effectively in the past few months.
3. Talking about adsense revenue increased..we can ask our active members earning from adsense to submit their this month's/week's detailed report and can give away some additional prize to the one who has earned maximum revenue(Should be open to certain members only).
4. Members can be asked to suggest new features they'll like to see at ISC in near future and winner of the best suggested feature can get some cash credits.
5. Another suggestion is giving away cash credits for special achievement such as welcome bonus for members in diamond level membership as Rs.100 then further when they reach 5000 points they can again get Rs.150 or something and then when a member reaches 10000 points he can get Rs.300 and Rs.500 for new platinum members.
These were a few that clicked now,will think of some more and post them.

Firstly i would like to thank you for thinking and deciding to share the revenue to the members this initiative can be seen in the probability of one milionth.To such a great level you are serving ISC members.
One suggestion is to increase the cash credit level of Question Paper section it it the lowest because you cant give below 1Re like 50 paise. So my suggestion and request concentrates here, because submitting a question paper needs more time and work than anything for ISC.

You should start a section Essay where the best essay will be given some prize. As essay is one of the most important topic to get in any competitive exam.

My suggestions are as follows
(1) "Member of the Day" gift award (Like Rs.100 or Rs.150 per day):
* So many ISC members are working sincerely, but they earn only points. They feel and worry about to earn money from ISC.
* Our ISC members daily spends so many valuable times to earn points and improve our ISC as well as Their self.
* To become a today's first member is not easy one, nearly it will take 3 to 5 Hours daily. Also now a day’s Earning points is too Hard.
* So from this award our so many ISC members will compete to each other and works hard to get this award. It improves our ISC as well as their self.
* Also it is one of the best daily Income who gets the first place per day in our ISC.
(2) "To days 500 points" gift award (like Rs.50 or Rs.100 per day):
If one day any two or three members earned 500 points per day, and they can't become a "member of the day" .that time this award cools their heart.
That’s why I am saying Our ISC member who earned 500 points per day they are also awarded cash prize. Because it should take time up to 6 hours.
This award is also awarded to the "member of the Day" who earned 500 points at that day.

* So we need care to validate our referrals

* Projects are very important to all ISC members as well as non ISC members.

Cash Credits should definitely be given for deserving members.
My Suggestios:
* Best 3 Market Place postings which get good traffic (weekly or fortnightly basis)- cash prizes
* Cash credit to those who give many city submissions
* Best 3 Fresher Jobs posting which get good traffic (weekly or fortnightly basis)- cash prizes
* Best member cash prize on monthly basis at each member level (not depending on number of postings, but quality of postings)
* Best bookmark submission gift prize, based on usefulness of the site posted (weekly basis)
* I don't think cash credits should be given for members who get 500 points a day, as suggested by others - some members I have noted are merely posting 1-2 lines in a resource section just to accumulate those points. Hence, it is pointless giving cash credits for such a reason

I suggest the following gifts to be added to the list of Cash Credits.
(1)The member who earns the most number of points in a day should be given the award "Member of the day".There are so many members spending hours together in the site.The most important thing while giving this award is that the score board should be checked and not the list which is being displayed on the left.It does not show the valid points.Those which are still under New submissions are also being given points like that of Aptitude questions and colleges.
The most active member during the day should be given cash credit of Rs 50/-
(2)There are more number of editors now and they should be given Editor of the Month award for their active editing.I know that they are being paid honorariums but an award for their work at the end of every month would be apt.They should be given cash credit of Rs 250/-

(1)Give Rs 4 for question paper submission only to Bronze,Silver,Gold Members and Rs 2 to diamond and Platinum members.
*Since Google Adsense account approval is now a days difficult, this package shall help new members ,who are from colleges to earn from ISC easily .
(2)Give Rs 25 daily for the person with maximum points.
*Give preference to new Member if he is in top 5, otherwise give to the person with maximum points.Keep the member of week and month as such.
(3)Give Rs 3 for each Referrals .
*This package really motivate every members to invite new visitors to ISC .

It is great to share the revenue of ISC to Members also.
All ISC Members working hard for ISC's growth, all considering it is our own site. This is main factor of ISC's Success. These revenue should reach every member working hard for ISC. I have some suggestions
1- Prize for every 2500/5000 points. Or give prize like Rs.100 or more for every member who reach 2500/5000 points in a month.
2- Weekly prize for the member who posted more fresh jobs in a week.
3- weekly or monthly prize for recent (best) poll postings. Consider member's 5 posts / week.
4- Weekly prize for Forum responses, Consider number of responses and its quality
5- Weekly / monthly prize (best 3 or more prizes) for best revenue makers of ISC. Google Adsense revenue is the main revenue source of ISC. So should share ISC's revenue to the members who makes more adsense revenue to ISC. Consider adsense revenue through ISC only.
6- weekly Prize for best editor. Give prize to the editor who verified most postings in all section. Editors work and spend more time for keeping ISC's quality.
7- Fixed Monthly salary for Webmaster and web editors working for ISC.
8- Monthly salary or prize for Editors who spend 3 or more hours per day for only verifying the postings.
9- Prize for every self written articles in Resources section
10- Weekly / monthly lucky draw. Consider all members, posted any article in ISC in a week / month. It encourages new members to post articles in ISC.
11- Select 10 or more good articles (resources) by editors and allow the members to vote for best article from the list, Give prize to which article got more votes. Also select a best Voter through lucky draw from the voters of best article. It will help to increase the viewers (readers) and results more revenue from Adsense

I suggest to give away a weekly prize to a member who spends maximum time in the ISC site in a week.. So we can give some cash prize to a member who visits the site and spends maximum time in our site.
One more suggestion is to give away a prize every week for the best resource in Science and Technology area. I mean you can give a cash prize to the member who submits best resource in the area of Science and technology ( For ex. a member submits some latest news, inventions, latest developments in Science etc).
I also agree with Mr. Harsh that to pay Rs.3 for each referral so that we get maximum members to join thereby increasing traffic.

Friends we would like to make Our ISC is the best website
• First in India level.
• Second is worldwide level.
To make our ISC as very popular we have the only one source is ‘The Students’.
Our First work is to attract all students and make them as a member of ISC.
Basically all students like to work part time job and earn pocket money for their expenditure.
Now a day’s our ISC becoming a very good student’s part time learning and working Website.
To become an active member in our ISC every members need
• Any type of PC with Internet connection.
So we need investments to get Internet connections and we have to pay at least Rs.580 money for unlimited every month net connection Bill.
I think most of 95% of Our ISC members having internet connection in their own houses; they only contribute their part in our ISC.
Please think about the rest of students who would like to join as a member in our ISC but they haven’t PC or Internet connection.
So they are going to Browsing centre and spend money with their Expensive time to work with our ISC.
Suppose the webmaster introduces gift awards as “member of the Day” and “Today’s 500 points” , definitely it inspires all the members and working seriously with enjoyment . It will help to grow our ISC with good traffic and revenue.
Also so many students’ members (student having internet connection in their own houses and students ready to work in browsing centre) will join Our ISC family.
Another important point regarding “Today’s 500 points” gift award, it is not easy to earn 500 points in one day. It’s equal to ’one cricket player who got 100 Runs’. So it should be a record of the member at that Day. Hence they will also award cash price like Rs.50 per day.
I saw the response about this gift awards from others, they only suggested minimum amount of Rupees.
From this, sorry I can say they only thinking about present ISC member benefits but I am always thinking about the present and Future ISC member benefits.
Please I suggest one more think, if the webmaster will announce gift award it should be worth full amount about this type of gift ie.Rs.100 otherwise it is not worth full.
That’s why I suggested,
(1) “Member of the day” gift award
(2) “Today’s 500 points” gift award
(3) “Daily Referrals competition” gift award
Finally I can conclude about this types of gift award
* should increase traffic and revenue of ISC.
* More students are attracted from this gift award so ISCian strengths will increase.
* The most gap between the ISCian membership will reduces (ie. All are should become an active member and hence the gap b/w bronze and Silver, silver and Gold will reduces)
* Daily any one of our member gets benefited from worth full Cash award.
* Definitely we should reach our ISCian strengths as 1,00,000 with in one or two months.

1)Regarding suggestion i express my view. I don't blame editors(**Me too an Editor, so only i boldly write this statement**). But it is my general view. You can make a separate category as ""SELF-WRITTEN"". In this category members can submit their self written article in any sub category like sports, travel , general. And editing this self written article is left to the webmasters and chief editors so that the high cash credit can reach the members pocket.Let the ordinary editors not touch this category, ***including myself.***
2)ISC can monitor the highest page hits of a resource for a week or a month and also twice or thrice in a financial year , which brought in more visitors to ISC this directly relates to the quality of resource and traffic to ISC AND award the contributor with CASH.
If you implement the suggestion (2), then members will start to think what if i contribute at current scenario will bring visitors to my resource ; this is what ultimately required for the growth of a member and ISC.

I do agree with them that some Credit Point should be given to who, who are posting self typed but good improved messages responces.
By this, members will be type by self, even for credit cash points their typing skill also become good by doing this.
Each member will post every message in his own language, by this his english also be get improved.

In addition to my previous suggestions, I would like to add one more:
You have stated that new members who get their first $100 from GoogleAdSense revenue would be eligible for a cash prize. It would be nice if you could similarly announce cash prizes for those reaching $30, $50, and $80 (naturally,smaller cash amounts as prizes!). After all, ISC's main earning avenue are these ads and these ads are there because of the members. Moreover, it does take quite some time to reach that $100, so do consider my suggestion to motivate members to that finish line - let the tortoises (like me!!) who, due to having regular jobs cannot really log on to ISC and post on a daily basis for hours & hours, win, too!
Also,could you announce similar cash prizes at the IRC site too?

Yet another suggestion that popped in my brain: you could award special cash prizes for those members whose Resource posts appear in the top 10 of Google Search - I personally feel that is an incredible achievement as Google is the most sought-after in the world as a search engine. So somebody,somewhere in the world may just click on the member's link and read that resource, and perhaps joining up as a member, providing referrals....starting a nice chain with increasing traffic to ISC.

We don't have any problem in giving prizes for great resources. However,it is hard to award prizes for "Resource posts appear in the top 10 of Google Search" - the question will be top 10 results for what keywords? Determining that will be really hard. It is possible that every resource will appear in top 10 results for some weired keywords or phrases.
As of now, we do not have any special points for 'Best Answers' in Yahoo. We may consider it in future.

I am suggesting this because most of the members are active only for certain period. They do not perform consistently. So this will benefit a true ISCian

My suggestion is after the members reach a level of points they can be given SODEXHO PASSES or the site itself can have some gifts and gadgets like mp3 players or thumb drives or anything like that and each gadget can have certain points value. After the members reach the points value or the points limit they can buy it online.

Its good to hear that ISC is in profits, and i congratulate all the members for this achievements.
and coming to the cool prize section i have many suggestion for it
which can be useful for the members.
This suggestion are nothing but the old rules of the ISC like
*every member of the week should be given 500.
*For every question paper posted cash credited should be again
increased to Rs 5
*Every member of the month should be given 1000 cash credit.
*And any new rule which is made should apply on the new members
only

Hi Tony,
Even I too agree with santosh regarding member of the week and member of the month. Earlier forums was very very interesting. The topics used to be very interesting and a lot of responses used to be there. Now, the interest has also reduced in old members since the prize money is reduced. If possible you may rethink of this issue. If funds position suits, then you may judge about giving the awards.

Its good for ISC is in profits and that profit you want to share, and i congratulate all the members for this achievements.
I will write my suggestion :
1.about new competition there shuold be a new innovative idea column.
2.Photograph of the month / week.
3.if there is a competition than it should be highlighted on front page.
That will help increase in number of participants .

As said above i too request you to kindly increase the question paper amount it is ver very meagre.
And also it is the best suggestion to give prize for the highest traffic visited resource as that resources brought many traffic as well as revenue to isc

We can give a cash credit to the best resource of the day/week
It will help inspired the members to post various self written resources to the ISC, because cash credit related with this matter.

Hi Tony I really appreciate that the India study editors and mentors are very good and very nice.I think that it's terrific that you are giving rs.250 for suggesting a prize.I really like this.There are few things that you can do:-
1)Increase the cash credits for question paper submission.
2)Increase the cash credit for inviting a friend.
3)Giving cash credits for the funniest photo submission.
4)Giving cash credits daily for making the highest points as this will increase the traffic also.

One suggestion has come in my mind right now when I was reading this forum, which I feel will improve the quality level of discussions in forum.
The prize for the members who use proper English with correct grammar and spellings in their discussions.I do not mean to say that I am always correct.But sometimes I have seen members writing very poor english which disappoints.

Hi Tony,
I have an idea for a competition which would really be interesting.
What you can do is that you start a story writing contest, providing the first few lines or a paragraph of the same. After that, each of the contestants can add his/her paragraph and in the end we can get a story, after of course the editing that needs to be done by the moderator. The story thus obtained can be sold off to any publisher with mutual consent of the contestants and the revenue can be shared accordingly and the prizes also can be distributed.

These type of channels are always welcome for earning revenue.....
Now a days revenue channels are increased in India for example ISC. so the awards and prize that were given could be increased as by giving educational cds........ this will lead to more peoples to attract towards this channel.
I have know about this channel by my friend...... very lately... by giving this type of educational cds will lead school and colleges to know about this channel.

Hi Tony,
It is really very thoughful of you. As a new member I would suggest that some incentive can be given to members at bronze and silver level as they are in a exploring stage and they need a push to work harder. An inscentive would be a good begining and for that you can think on following lines :
a) Incresing the inscentive on question paper submission
b) Essay writing/ story writing contest
c) Post a confusing picture / Sketch and ask the members to analyse and write min five lines on what they see in the picture but their writing should have an essence. This is something which would be a unique feature of ISC.

Some cash credit should be given for innovative ideas given by ISC members for overall improvement of ISC.
E.g. 1. Someone pointing out a fault in the website and giving suggestion to correct that
2. Someone giving a different look and feel for the website
