I think 2009 elections will not give a one party government in center as regional parties are strong and they will play a main role to form the government.

India is a great nation with many states each having its own regional parties. Though the National congress party and Bharatya Janata party are strong in some of the states, they have to form an alliance to win in the other states. Definitely a single party cannot win the majority as required to form a government. Hence many parties having similar motto may form alliance in order to establish a stable government.

well i don't think we will ever have a single party government because there so much diversity in our country and also so many regional parties which left no stone unturned in exploiting our people for their own benefits.

and our countrymen do come under their confidence and elect them on their caste ,creed ,religion rather than main issues like development ,security..etc.

No a single party majority is not possible in India.

We can't even dream of it.

I guess it would be possible only if two parties are going to participate in the election and it is highly impossible !!!

Inida is so diversified that no one can unify it!!!

Though no party says it before the election all parties have a common aim of forming alliances with one other to take the power.

They fight aganist one another before the like cats and dogs and immediately after the elections they from alliances stating they have some common ideaologies.

Yes definitely there is a chance for BJP to form a stabe government without any allaince because present UPA government is responsible for repeated terror attacks,Continued strikes in various disciplines.Actions were taken considering the future of India and immediate steps were not been taken to counteract the problems for example Inflation,Repeated terror attacks etc..So BJP has the bright chance to form a government without any allaince.

i do not know what will happen because we can not predict future but i wish that a single government should winand rule the country because then there will be no more drama to break the tied up from the government by the supporting party and they will not in pressure ,because if there will be alliance again then the supporting party will always demand to full fill their demands which may not be a good result for the whole nation,

Yes it looks like that only. The single party majority is not possible for coming Loksabha Elections. May be BJP along with their alliances or Congress along with their alliances will form the Government.

Let's see.

If you watch the results of the recent 6 state elections in it seems to be single party majority is not possible in the coming elections. It is not possible for single party to get 272 seats in the coming parliament elections. The congress and BJP are getting almost equal seats and there are number of independent parties in different states will put no other option than coalition.

As of today, single party rule at the centre will not materialise. Time is still available for push and pull among the parties to make or break the alliances.

Single party rule is important for atleast the single party elected will be able to discharge its contitutional duties to the voters/ citizens in giving them proper food, shelter, medical, welfare and other important schemes.

India is a land of different caste, creed, language and that suits the political parties to divide us and reap the benefits of such division. People should realise this aspect and try to bring a change. It is advisable that more educated and motivated youngsters should come to politics to bring our country forward. We are a super power and it is time to show it to the world.

I request all voters from Kashmir to Kanyakumari to caste their vote without fail.
