Computer in transportation:
The importance of computers in transportation can be easily demonstrated if you take the example of a courier service.
For Ex: You have sent a courier through a courier service. Then immediately the details of your courier like where it has reached, whether it is received by thr recepient, when it is received etc etc..... all the details are displayed in the Courier Company's website. Without computer this wouldnot have been possible. So, life is made easy.
Now due to more familiarization of computers, it is being used in almost all the fields.

Hi,
Computers are used in various fields today and we can also say that there are very limited offices which do not use computers for their official purposes. As already said by our team member, it is very useful in a courier office, Airline bookings online and the transactions done using computers in the Airports of various locations in India, Lorry or truck transportation offices etc. If you have to go via check post, then you have to pay them tax to enter a different state and that is also recorded with the use of a computer.
Hence there are various uses of computers in transportation fields.

now a days the uses of computers are expanding in all areas. The main reason for this is exchange of information and communicting among the people.
There is the need to use computers in Transportation. It reduces the time and gives the correct information about transportation.
Computer networks can manage to put down the
barriers between information held on several (not only
computer) systems. Only with the help of computer networks
can a border less communication and information environment
be built.
