It is a great news.There will be a very tight competetion for these awards.Now everyone will work hard to get this award.I will be there to get this award.At present i spend just 1-2 hours on ISC but in future I will spend more time on ISC to get all Awards on my name.I also want to earn more money from Adsense.

Hi Dr. Sanjeev,
Now this is what I call a democracy and freedom. People will now cast votes to vote in favour of ISC favorites. I think this is a great idea. There will be tough competition in both the groups and guessing the winner before the polls is a tough ask. Let's see who emerges as the top dog in both the competitions. Good idea Dr. Sanjeev. Let's hope people will actively vote and make the best man in their category the winner.

Nice and welcomed feature at ISc.It is worth to,to selct via poll method.In poll section,there are lots of polls questioning on various subjects ans some beating the bush.This type of scheme will add color and worthful aprtcipation at polls section.
In short,it will become a section,that everybody will look forward too!!
My questions are:
Can one member give more than two votes,if so wont that become manipulative?
What does that award contain?

Great idea to have members themselves casting their votes. Right from the outset I have been happy with the openness and transparency of the system at this site. This award system only adds to that belief about ISC's democratic and open nature.
Just 1 Query: you have stated "Only active members and editors names will be there in voting options" - will the Webmasters decide these names?

As only four or five nominations can be at a time in a poll, so certainly the webmaster will decide the the nominations, but the same nominations will not be repeated at least the one who got the award will not be included for 3 months, but that does not mean that he or she should become inactive, becuase it will be judged by overall activity.

Another query: will bronze members also be allowed to vote? Since they are new members they will not really know who is who; similarly, those who reach the silver level with 50 points just through poll votes or making buddies are not likely to know the nominees. We need to get genuine votes and not votes just for the heck of casting the votes.

As already mentioned only active members will be nominated, so I think once a members remains active his/her membership level will cross from bronze within no time, so there is no question for the nomination for bronze members.

i have a query: if a member have voted 50 polls in ISC then he is not eligible to vote in any pole for the next 30 days.does this restriction applies for these polls or not?
