Having a good photo and too of your own makes a nice impression and also gives a professional outlook. Thus remove all the unwanted photos and post in your own image.
Learn to be proud of yourselves.
I will suggest to people to give a professional outlook to their photos.
Doctors can have their photos from their clinics.
Engineers can have their photos depicting their trades.
Musicians can have their images with their instruments.
And I will suggest to members to have close up photograph, and NOT to have a image with lots of background and the image of self very small.
The best photo can be your passport size photograph.!!!
But if you want to be more creative, you can have a good photograph.
Let see how many change their profile photographs and have a good professional outlook rebuild on ISC.
I will request those members who change their photographs to post in this thread so that we can know that there are lot of professional people out here.

Your point is valid that one should not upload photos of celebrities or cartoon characters,but it would be rather better to leave a blank space in profile,because its not safe to upload your or your family photos.It would be much better if everyone upload his/her passport size photos.But remember ,it should be everyone.

Thank you for your nice information. It should be strictly restricted in ISC. All the members please remove your unwanted pictures. Try to upload your own photos otherwise leave it as blank as one of editor Vandana said.

Hello Friends,
There are many members who doesn't want to show their original photo to others (they may be shy). Now since we are not allowed to have a picture of celebrity,god,cartoons so Why not make one for yourself.
What you can do is:
Make an image with your name written or your kids picture or your own childhood picture.
Members please understand the issue of copyright. There are many cases for these and you can also search on Google or Wikipedia for more detailed information regarding past cases.
Friends we are growing more each day and many advertisers are coming to ISC and they do take website's image seriously and if we get any bad impression this may also have an adverse effect on all members earnings.
So please remove or replace your profile images.

Very nice note by Atul Sir. Instead of having any cartoon pic in your profile photo image, it is always good to have a self image and if its with your name or any such part on it, then very few people will try to make bad use of it. If you still fear of your photo to be made bad use of, then do not upload any image. At least it is better than to have skimpy bodies and shirtless images in your profile photos. It shows how your personality is.

Yes, If this continues i think the photos will have to be moderated by the editors in order to prevent ISC from getting into trouble because of copyright issues!
I also think that a neat profile with a decent photograph can also boost
the chances of getting your adsense account approved.So all members are advised to have their own photos.

with reference to your message, i just want to say onething.Copying of such photos became a habit as many of them,who are using social sites like "orkut" and many more.i just want to suggest the editors to warn or to pass a message to the members that,you may loose your points if you upload such photos,as if you are doing for other programms.I appreciate for your concern towards this activity.

Very valid post. I don't understand why people wants to give credit to such film star? Film star have lot of other means for their publicity why our ISC Members so educated doing this?
Please act immediately remove such photos and if you don't have your own cute photo then simply put your baby photo.

I am very much surprised to see the points secured by Mr.Nitin and for Mr/Ms. Mohsinali.
And they both posted the same response.Fortunately Mr.Nitin posted first.But what surprises me is Mr.Nitin secured only 2 points and Mohsinali got the blessings of Vandana along with 20 points.
Will you reveal the secret behind this? May be the former is a Platinum member and later is a Bronze member and you are trying to encourage.

Despite this post, I have seen members still having photos of a shirtless John Abraham or other film celebrity at their profile page.
Members, please remove such photos. I cannot check each & every profile page of over 1 lakh members!

Is it possible to stamp or printed ISC letter or brand on our photos at ISC profile, as it will be considered as genuine and it could help in avoiding misusing our photos by unknown person also the rest members can post their photos in their profile with more confident.
This is just my suggestion and it is up to member's choice and ISC administration approval.

This Forum post is an old one and should not have been pulled up. However, I did like the suggestion made by Hafeezur as it will stop self-photos of members from being misused through morphing by those who wrongly do such things via the Net.
I have put forth the suggetion of a watermark / stamp to the Webmasters. We can wait & see if the idea can be implemented by them.
